Plan this as a rebuild, not a one-click transfer: the available product documentation does not establish that Gyre can import a LiveReacting project or preserve its existing YouTube event URL. Inventory each LiveReacting broadcast, recreate its playlist and schedule in Gyre, then test the new event before retiring the old setup.

What changes when you move platforms

LiveReacting’s scheduled playlist workflow uses an ordered set of videos, a connected channel, a run length, and selected dates or repeat settings. Its continuous 24/7 streams are a separate workflow. Gyre’s documented setup uses video files uploaded to Gyre Storage, a playlist, a connected YouTube account or stream destination, and start/end scheduling. Gyre playlists restart from the beginning after the final file.

The platforms’ documented workflows do not establish a direct LiveReacting project importer or retention of existing YouTube event URLs. Preserve your old event information until you have confirmed how Gyre handles the replacement event and tested it.

1. Inventory every LiveReacting broadcast

Before changing anything, create a record for each scheduled project. Capture the details that define both the content and how viewers find it:

Elebase USB to USB C Adapter for iPhone 18 Pro Max,USBC Car Charger Adapter
  • Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
  • Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
  • Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
  • Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
  • 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
  • The YouTube channel connected to the project.
  • Stream title, description, thumbnail, and the existing YouTube watch-page or event URL.
  • Video files and their playlist order, including the first and last items that determine the loop boundary.
  • Whether the playlist loops, the intended run length, and any overlays or scene settings that matter.
  • Selected dates or repeat settings, including the next scheduled run and the time zone shown by the scheduling interface.

LiveReacting says its scheduling dates and times use the computer’s time zone. Its documented scheduler describes dates up to 30 days ahead and up to 50 repeat runs within 30 days; scheduling availability also varies by plan. Treat those figures as limits of that described LiveReacting workflow, not as rules that automatically carry over to Gyre.

2. Rebuild the playlist in Gyre

  1. Upload the source videos to Gyre Storage.
  2. If Gyre flags a file for preparation or optimization, follow the prompt before adding it to the playlist.
  3. Arrange the uploaded files in the order recorded from LiveReacting. Check the first and final items so the transition when the playlist restarts is intentional.
  4. Review the playlist and confirm that the sequence is complete before setting a broadcast time.

Gyre’s documented behavior is to restart the playlist from its beginning after the last file ends. Check the playback behavior in your account rather than assuming that other LiveReacting project settings transfer with the media.

3. Connect the YouTube channel and schedule the stream

  1. In Gyre, connect the YouTube channel that should host the broadcast. A September 2026 Gyre update describes authorization through the YouTube API; manual stream-key setup is also described as available. Use the connection method shown in your account.
  2. Open Gyre’s Streams Scheduler and choose the start time, end time, or both, according to the options available for your account.
  3. Re-enter upcoming dates and any desired recurrence deliberately. The reviewed Gyre material does not establish that its recurrence rules match LiveReacting’s.
  4. Check the displayed time zone and the next scheduled run against your inventory. Do not assume that the computer time zone or repeat pattern carried over unchanged.
  5. Review the destination and stream details before saving the schedule.

Gyre’s September 2026 update says scheduler access is included on trial, Start+, and PRO+ plans, but not Start. Plan names and access can change, so confirm availability in Gyre before relying on a particular schedule feature.

4. Test the replacement before retiring the old event

Run a controlled test or wait for the first scheduled event while you can check it. Confirm that the intended playlist is playing on the correct YouTube channel, the metadata and schedule are right, and the playlist restarts as expected. Check that the new event is visible on the channel and that any audience links direct viewers to the intended event.

Keep the old event details until the replacement has been verified. The documented workflows do not describe a one-click migration or rollback mechanism, so do not assume that the old event URL remains valid for the Gyre broadcast.

5. Resolve event-link and import questions with Gyre

Before announcing a seamless change, ask Gyre directly:

The available product documentation describes setup within each service but does not answer those migration-specific questions. Keep promotional links pointed at the verified event rather than promising that an existing URL will continue to work.

LiveReacting and Gyre workflow differences

Decision LiveReacting documentation Gyre documentation reviewed
Content setup Build a project with an ordered playlist; upload or import videos from listed sources. Upload files to Gyre Storage and arrange them into a playlist.
Loop behavior Playlists can loop; continuous 24/7 streaming is described separately from scheduled runs. The playlist restarts when it reaches the end.
Timing Select dates or a repeat; the described scheduler uses the computer’s time zone and allows dates up to 30 days ahead and up to 50 repeat runs within 30 days. Choose start and end times in Streams Scheduler; equivalence to LiveReacting recurrence limits is not established.
YouTube connection Connect a channel or connect to an already scheduled YouTube event. The September 2026 update describes API channel authorization; manual stream-key setup is also available.
Plan availability Scheduling features vary by plan. The September 2026 update says scheduler access is on trial, Start+, and PRO+, but not Start.

Common migration problems and fixes

  • The broadcast is scheduled at the wrong local time: compare Gyre’s displayed time zone and next run with the LiveReacting schedule and your inventory; edit the Gyre schedule rather than assuming the previous time-zone behavior applies.
  • The playlist order or loop transition is wrong: compare the Gyre playlist against the inventory and inspect the first and final files, since Gyre restarts at the beginning after the last file.
  • A video will not enter the playlist: check whether Gyre has flagged it for preparation or optimization, complete the indicated step, and retry.
  • The schedule option is missing: check the scheduler access available on your Gyre plan; the September 2026 update does not list Start as eligible.
  • Viewers land on the old event or a broken link: verify the new YouTube event on the channel and update promotional links to the confirmed destination. Do not assume the old event URL was retained.

Or let it run in the cloud

If your goal is simply to keep uploaded videos looping as a YouTube live stream, StreamNeo is an alternative: upload your video, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. The stream runs from the cloud, so nothing has to stay on at home; it plays your uploaded videos, not a camera feed.
