To find a bird in Heartopia, search a current community bird database by species or location, then check its listed time, weather, and seasonal conditions before travelling. Heartopia.live’s searchable guide offers those details for its listed species, but it warns that community-collected entries may be inaccurate or incomplete. Treat its locations as leads to verify in game, not guaranteed live spawn reports.
How to find a bird in Heartopia
- Look up the species or habitat. Open the Heartopia.live bird guide and filter by a bird’s name or location.
- Check its conditions. Note the location and any listed time, weather, or seasonal requirements. A seasonal listing does not prove the bird is currently available.
- Confirm conditions in game. Check the current in-game time, weather, and season before heading to the location. Database information can be incomplete or outdated.
- Use the location label as written. Guides may use different levels of detail or localized names. Heartopia.live, for example, lists specific places such as Fishing Village (Wharf) and Suburban Lake, while Heartopia.app’s April 2026 database uses broader habitat labels such as Forest, Mountain, Beach, Lake, and Meadow.
Heartopia.live says its entries are community-collected and may be inaccurate or incomplete; its page was last updated July 13, 2026. Even a matching entry is a search lead rather than confirmation of a live spawn.

How birdwatching and bird photography work
Heartopia.Life describes birdwatching as a photography hobby. Its guide says Bailey J provides the Bird Scanner, which you use to approach a bird, aim and focus, and take a photo to create an Info Card. The guide lists the hobby unlock at DG Level 6, but another community reference gives a different threshold. Check the in-game hobby information rather than relying on a precise level from a fan guide.

Tips for getting a photo
- Approach carefully so you do not scare the bird away.
- Use focus and zoom to make the subject clear in the frame.
- Wait for an action such as chirping, foraging, or flying instead of photographing an idle bird.
These are recommendations from a community guide, not independently verified mechanics.
Why bird totals differ between guides
There is no verified official current total in the available references. The community databases do not agree, and their counts may cover different updates or entries.
Rank #2
| Reference | Displayed or claimed count | Qualification |
|---|---|---|
| Heartopia.live | 83 species | Displayed database count; community-collected and potentially inaccurate or incomplete. |
| Heartopia.app database | 71 entries | Database count, separate from the site’s birdwatching guide. |
| Heartopia.app birdwatching guide | 68 species | Guide’s claimed roster count. |
Because these figures conflict, none should be treated as the definitive current roster. The difference could reflect updates, event birds, database scope, or uneven coverage; the references do not establish which explanation is correct. A separate search listing mentioned 97 birds, but that figure was not verified on an opened page and is not a dependable count.

Use the reference that makes it easiest to find and verify the details you need. Heartopia.live provides specific location, time, and weather fields and discloses that its data may be inaccurate. Heartopia.app has a separate list and photo guide, but its own guide and database show different totals. Compare the entry details and update information rather than choosing a guide solely by its roster count.
