Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteTo run an Indian lo-fi study stream on YouTube around the clock, first secure music and visual rights that explicitly cover live streaming and archived playback. Then enable encoder access for your channel, build an original program, test it in YouTube’s Live Control Room, and monitor both the live broadcast and its archive. A computer and encoder can keep the stream going while they run; a cloud service such as StreamNeo can run uploaded videos without a computer staying on at home.
1. Clear the music and visual rights first
Rights are the main launch dependency. YouTube requires the necessary rights to use live content, including music rights involving artists, record labels, publishers, and other rights holders. A “free music” label or an attribution line does not, by itself, establish permission. Read YouTube’s livestream terms and conditions and tips to find safe music.
For each recording, check both the sound-recording rights and the underlying composition rights. Get written permission that expressly covers your planned use; do not assume a license for an ordinary uploaded video also covers a continuous live broadcast.
Check these terms for every track
- Permission for YouTube livestreaming and continuous or looped playback.
- Permission to retain and replay the stream archive, including any applicable claim or takedown process.
- Territories, duration, renewal or expiration, and whether monetization is allowed.
- Permission for edits, transitions, and synchronizing the music with visuals.
- How the rights holder will handle YouTube Content ID and whether it will add your channel to its allowlist.
Keep a rights ledger with the track, writer or artist, recording owner, license document, permitted territories, live and archive scope, expiry, and allowlist status. This record helps you verify what the permission covers and follow up if a claim appears.

YouTube scans livestreams for third-party material. Its live copyright guidance says a licensed creator should ask the rights owner to add the channel to its Content ID allowlist; an archive can also receive claims after the stream ends. A license therefore does not guarantee uninterrupted playback or a claim-free archive.
YouTube’s Creator Music FAQ says Creator Music does not support licensing for live content. Its usage details say tracks licensed or used under revenue share are for long-form uploaded videos, not livestreams or Shorts. Check current availability and terms rather than treating Creator Music as a live-stream license.

YouTube Audio Library is another place to look for music, but confirm the terms for each track before using it in a continuous live broadcast; the general recommendation to find copyright-safe music is not proof that every track permits this particular use.
2. Confirm channel eligibility and set up encoder streaming
YouTube supports encoder streaming, a suitable method when a show needs a prepared audio-visual program. Before planning the event, check the channel’s access in YouTube Studio. YouTube says a channel must be verified and must not have had livestream restrictions in the previous 90 days; livestreamers must be at least 16. See Get started with live streaming.

- Verify the channel and access. Follow YouTube Studio’s live-streaming setup flow and resolve any eligibility or restriction notice before preparing a launch.
- Choose an encoder workflow. Configure an encoder on a computer you can operate and monitor. YouTube supports encoder streaming; it does not establish a particular computer, encoder, or minimum hardware specification for this project.
- Create the live event in YouTube Studio. Set its title and visibility, then copy the stream key into the encoder’s YouTube destination settings. Treat the key like a password: do not publish it or include it in a screenshot.
- Use RTMPS where supported. YouTube recommends RTMPS in its live streaming tips. Select the target resolution and the matching encoder settings using YouTube’s current encoder settings, bitrate, and resolution guidance.
Settings to validate before going live
Use a bitrate your upload connection can sustain reliably, and set the keyframe interval to two seconds, as recommended in YouTube’s general encoder guidance. Choose resolution and bitrate from the current YouTube table for your target output rather than copying a value for a different resolution or connection. YouTube transcodes a live stream into output formats for different devices and network conditions, so the encoder’s input settings are not a promise that every viewer receives that exact format.
For a study stream, keep playback levels consistent and transitions unobtrusive. Use original visuals or visuals with appropriate permissions, and make the presentation distinct rather than relying on a static loop as the entire creative contribution. Indian instruments, language, regional style, and exam-focused ambience are editorial choices; YouTube’s technical guidance does not prescribe a particular sound or format.

3. Test the stream before launch
YouTube recommends preparing the encoder at least two hours before an event and starting it at least 15 minutes beforehand. Use that time to check the actual program, not just whether the encoder reports a connection.
- Start the encoder and confirm that the event appears in the Live Control Room preview.
- Check the stream-health indicator and fix warnings before making the event public.
- Open the watch page from another device, including a phone, and confirm that audio and video play as intended.
- Listen for level jumps, gaps, clipping, or abrupt loop points; inspect visuals for black frames, unintended overlays, or unlicensed material.
- Keep monitoring audio and video quality during the broadcast. YouTube’s encoder tips and settings guidance describe operating practices, not a complete unattended failover plan.
4. Monitor copyright, the live event, and its archive
Keep the Live Control Room open or otherwise arrange for someone to respond to stream-health alerts and copyright notices. If you use licensed third-party music, verify that the owner has allowlisted your channel as agreed. After ending or rotating an event, inspect the archive for Content ID claims and handle them through the rights holder and YouTube’s process.

The cited YouTube guidance does not establish a safe maximum duration for one continuous event or provide a complete automatic-recovery architecture. Plan event length and recovery around your encoder, connection, monitoring capacity, and channel setup; do not assume a continuous broadcast will stay live without intervention.
5. Make the format original; treat monetization as a separate review
YouTube’s channel monetization policies say repetitive or mass-produced content can be ineligible under the inauthentic-content policy; the policy notes a clarification dated July 15, 2025. Build a recognizable program through original or properly licensed music, visuals, curation, and presentation. The fact that a stream runs for 24/7 does not itself establish monetization eligibility, approval, or earnings.
6. Choose a way to keep it running
A local encoder requires a computer, stable upload connection, and a way to monitor operation and respond to interruptions. Compare options by reliable operation at your target resolution, encoder compatibility, network stability, monitoring and recovery, power and noise, and budget. YouTube does not endorse a particular computer or publish a project-specific minimum here, so start with equipment you have and determine whether it meets your chosen settings and reliability needs before buying anything.
Or let it run in the cloud
StreamNeo runs uploaded videos as a 24/7 YouTube stream from the cloud: upload your recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. Your computer and home connection do not need to stay on. It streams the file as uploaded, up to 4K 60fps, at one price per slot regardless of quality; it does not re-encode. It can automatically recover if YouTube drops the stream. Every slot includes 10 GB storage, pooled across active slots, looping and playlists, and StreamNeo team support. The first day is free with no card, one free day per account. UPI and cards are available in India, and card checkout is available worldwide.
