Outbyte Driver Updater FREEScan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Outbyte PC Repair FREERepair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →You can run a YouTube stream that repeatedly plays recorded NIOS lessons by feeding cleared recordings through an encoder such as OBS into YouTube Live Control Room. YouTube provides the live ingest connection, but the encoder or cloud service must handle playback and looping; your channel must also be eligible for live streaming. Most importantly, confirm that you have permission to rebroadcast each recording before putting it on air: NIOS warns that unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or display of its digital content is prohibited.
First, confirm you have permission to rebroadcast the lessons
Do not assume that a recording may be rebroadcast just because it is publicly available or intended for education. NIOS’s Examination Portal says: “The digital content available on NIOS official website is protected by Indian copyright laws (Section 63 of Copyright Act-1957 or amended).” Its notice also says unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or display is prohibited. This notice does not establish the rights status of every individual recording, so check the specific materials and obtain permission from the relevant rights holder for continuous streaming on YouTube.
Check the whole recording, not only the lesson itself: music, photographs, slides, guest appearances, and other third-party material may have separate rights. Keep records of permissions or licenses, and do not use technical workarounds to rebroadcast material you are not authorized to use.
If you need official learning materials rather than a third-party YouTube stream, NIOS provides NIOS Virtual Open School and a separate digital education and e-resource platform.

What you need for a continuous stream
- A YouTube channel eligible for live streaming.
- Recorded lesson files that play correctly and are cleared for the intended rebroadcast.
- An encoder or streaming service that can play a playlist or rotation and send its output to YouTube.
- A stable operating setup and a plan for checking the stream and responding to interruptions.
YouTube’s encoder workflow connects an encoder to a live event; it does not itself supply a 24/7 playlist or promise uninterrupted broadcasting. Continuity depends on the playback system, encoder or service, power, internet connection, and monitoring.
Set up a 24/7 stream with a local encoder
1. Prepare and test the cleared recordings
Put only authorized lesson files into the playback order you want. Play each file through and check that its audio and video work, that transitions behave as expected, and that the playlist can repeat or rotate as required. Looping and playlist controls depend on the software you choose; YouTube’s encoder documentation does not prescribe a specific OBS playlist configuration for continuous playback.

2. Enable YouTube live streaming
YouTube requires a verified channel with no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. First-time activation can take up to 24 hours, so enable it before your planned launch. See YouTube’s live streaming tips for eligibility guidance.
3. Create the encoder-based live event
In YouTube Studio, open Live Control Room and create or schedule an encoder stream. YouTube’s encoder setup guide explains how to copy the stream URL and stream key into your encoder. The stream key identifies the feed sent by the encoder, so treat it like a password: do not share it publicly, and use YouTube’s controls to replace it if it is exposed.

4. Configure the encoder and playback
Set the encoder to send the authorized playlist to YouTube using the event’s ingest details. Configure the playback software for continuous looping or rotation, then verify the complete chain—from file playback to encoder output to YouTube preview. OBS is among the encoders listed by YouTube and is described there as open-source software. Exact interface labels and playlist setup vary by encoder version; test the controls in the version you install rather than assuming YouTube configures looping for you.
YouTube’s cited setup guidance establishes the ingest workflow but does not prescribe a universal bitrate, resolution, or keyframe setting for every source and connection. Choose settings your upload connection and encoder can sustain, and consult the current guidance for your selected encoder and YouTube event settings at Manage live stream settings. Avoid changing a working configuration immediately before launch without testing it.

5. Preview, go live, and monitor
Before making the event public, check the Live Control Room preview for picture, sound, and correct lesson playback. After launch, check the channel’s watch page, including on a mobile device, and arrange regular monitoring or alerts. YouTube advises continuous audio and video monitoring and testing failover where applicable; it does not guarantee 24/7 uptime. For an unattended stream, decide who will respond to a stopped playlist, failed connection, or other interruption.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Plan separately for the live archive
A live stream’s availability does not guarantee that YouTube will save a complete replay. YouTube says, “If your live stream is less than 12 hours, YouTube can automatically archive it for you.” A stream exceeding 12 hours may not be captured at all. If a replay matters, do not rely on the archive as the only copy of a full-day broadcast: consider separate shorter events or a local recording, and verify the current archive settings. Details are in YouTube’s archive guidance.

| StreamNeo | You want uploaded videos to keep a YouTube channel live from the cloud. | Uses StreamNeo’s service and its account, storage, and plan arrangements. |
| Local software encoder such as OBS | You want hands-on control and can leave a computer online. | You handle the computer, playback, software updates, internet interruptions, and monitoring. |
| Cloud continuous-streaming service such as Gyre | You want to avoid using a local computer as the playback and encoder host. | Check the provider’s current price, file and playlist limits, recovery behavior, region, and account access. |
| Dedicated hardware encoder such as AJA HELO Plus | A dedicated appliance or hardware-based workflow is justified. | Requires equipment and setup; it may be more than a simple first stream needs. |
| NIOS learning platforms | You want official NIOS lesson and resource access. | These are learning and resource routes, not a third-party continuous YouTube channel. |
Or let it run in the cloud
With StreamNeo, upload an authorized recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. StreamNeo plays uploaded videos to YouTube from the cloud, so your computer does not have to stay on. Each slot streams the video as uploaded, up to 4K 60fps, at one flat price per slot; StreamNeo also automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. Monthly billing is $9.99 per month.

Troubleshoot common problems
- You cannot start a live stream: Check that the channel is verified, has no live-streaming restriction in the previous 90 days, and has completed first-time activation. Allow up to 24 hours for first-time enablement.
- YouTube does not receive the encoder feed: Recheck that the event’s stream URL and key were copied correctly into the encoder and that the intended event is open in Live Control Room. If a key may have been exposed, replace it through YouTube rather than continuing to use it.
- The stream starts but lessons stop or repeat incorrectly: Check the playback playlist and loop settings in the encoder or service. YouTube’s ingest connection does not control the local playlist.
- There is no sound, picture, or the wrong lesson appears: Check the file itself, playback order, encoder output, and Live Control Room preview before directing viewers to the stream.
- The connection or stream drops: Check the computer or service, power, and internet connection, then inspect the encoder’s reconnect behavior. Keep a response plan; YouTube’s setup guidance does not promise uninterrupted service.
- A full-day replay is missing: A stream longer than 12 hours may not be captured as an archive. Use shorter separate events or retain a local recording if a complete replay is required.
