How to Stream a Looping Prenatal Yoga Relaxation Video on YouTube Live

A YouTube Live event needs an incoming encoder feed to play a prerecorded video continuously; the watch-page Loop button only repeats viewer playback.

To broadcast a prerecorded prenatal yoga relaxation video continuously on YouTube Live, create or schedule a Live event in YouTube Studio, then send the video to it from an encoder or a compatible cloud service using the event’s stream URL and key. YouTube’s watch-page Loop control repeats playback for viewers; it does not send a video into a Live broadcast. Test the complete setup before sharing the event.

What you need before you start

  • A verified YouTube channel with live streaming enabled and no live-streaming restriction during the previous 90 days. First-time activation can take up to 24 hours, so enable it well ahead of your planned broadcast. YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility guidance has the current requirements.
  • A prerecorded video you have the rights to stream, plus an encoder or service that can send that video as a live feed and repeat it. YouTube describes an encoder as software or hardware that converts video for streaming. YouTube’s encoder setup guide explains the platform handoff.
  • A reliable upload connection capable of sustaining the settings you choose. Test stream health rather than assuming a connection can handle a particular resolution or bitrate.

Because this is prenatal exercise content, ask a qualified prenatal yoga professional or obstetric professional to review the actual video. The technical streaming steps below are not advice about pregnancy exercise, pose suitability, or medical safety.

Create the YouTube Live event

  1. Open YouTube Studio and go to the Live Control Room. Create a new stream or select a scheduled event; set its title, description, privacy, and schedule. Interface labels may change, so consult YouTube Help if the controls differ.
  2. In the event’s stream settings, obtain the stream URL and stream key for your encoder. Treat the key like a password: it authorizes an encoder to send video to your channel, so do not publish it or share it with viewers.
  3. Keep the event selected in Live Control Room so you can inspect its preview and stream status once the encoder connects.

The event is the scheduled YouTube broadcast page; the encoder supplies the audiovisual feed. Creating the event alone does not make a local video play or repeat.

Set up the encoder to repeat the prerecorded video

  1. Choose an encoder whose current documentation explicitly supports using a local video file as a media source and repeating that source. Verify the repeat function in that encoder’s own current instructions; YouTube’s documentation does not establish the button-by-button loop procedure for a particular encoder.
  2. Configure the encoder to send the video and its audio to the event using the stream URL and key from Live Control Room. Use RTMPS if your encoder supports it; YouTube recommends RTMPS as an encrypted extension of RTMP.
  3. Enable repeat or loop for the media source in the encoder, then check that playback returns to the beginning without an unintended gap, black frame, or audio interruption. The exact control and behavior depend on the encoder, so confirm with a test rather than assuming that a loop setting exists or works as expected.
  4. Start the encoder ahead of the scheduled start and check the Live Control Room preview before making the event public. Confirm that the video, audio, and repeat behavior are all correct.

Do not use YouTube’s ordinary watch-page Loop control as a substitute. That control repeats playback for a viewer; it does not turn the watch-page video into an incoming Live feed.

  • Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
  • Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
  • Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
  • Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
  • 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.

Choose compatible video and audio settings

Use settings supported by both the encoder and YouTube’s current ingestion guidance. YouTube lists H.264, H.265, and AV1 video; AAC or MP3 audio; constant bitrate encoding; frame rates up to 60 fps; and a recommended two-second keyframe interval that should not exceed four seconds. The recommended bitrate depends on the video resolution and codec, so select a matching value from YouTube’s current encoder settings rather than treating any single bitrate as universal.

  • Resolution and frame rate: choose a setting appropriate to the uploaded video and the connection’s sustained upload capacity. A higher setting is not automatically more reliable.
  • Codec and bitrate: select a codec supported by your encoder and use YouTube’s table for the corresponding resolution and frame rate. Constant bitrate encoding is part of YouTube’s listed guidance.
  • Keyframes: set a two-second interval where the encoder allows it; do not exceed four seconds.
  • Audio: use a supported audio codec and listen to the preview. For a relaxation video, check that narration or music is clear and not clipped, distorted, or unexpectedly silent.

Test, publish, and monitor the broadcast

  1. Run a private or unlisted test with the same video, audio, encoder settings, and network you plan to use. Include a loop boundary so you can check the transition back to the start.
  2. In Live Control Room, wait for the preview and check the stream’s health before starting the public broadcast.
  3. Verify that the event can be opened from the channel and watch pages, and check it on a mobile device. YouTube recommends testing accessibility and monitoring audio and video quality. See YouTube’s live-streaming tips.
  4. During the event, keep an eye on the encoder and Live Control Room status when practical. If the stream drops, reconnect using the same event’s stream settings and check that the video source resumes looping as intended.

YouTube says expensive equipment is not required to get started. An external microphone or other audio hardware is optional; consider it only if testing shows that the existing audio is unclear. YouTube’s encoder guidance covers supported ingest settings, while its streaming tips emphasize testing and monitoring.

Copyright and channel considerations

Only stream video, music, and other material you have permission to use. A video being appropriate for prenatal relaxation does not establish that you own the rights to its soundtrack or visuals. Review YouTube’s current copyright guidance and YouTube channel monetization policies if you plan to monetize; platform rules and enforcement can change.

Troubleshoot common problems

Symptom Likely cause What to check
Live Control Room shows no incoming feed The encoder is not sending to the selected event, or the URL or key is incorrect. Confirm the selected event, copy its current stream URL and key into the encoder, and start the encoder. Keep the key private.
The event exists, but the video does not repeat The encoder’s media source is not set to repeat, or its repeat behavior differs from what you expected. Check the encoder’s current documentation and test the file through a complete loop, including the transition between plays.
Preview is choppy or stream health is poor The chosen bitrate or resolution may exceed the available sustained upload capacity, or the connection may be unstable. Check YouTube’s current bitrate table for the selected codec and resolution, reduce settings if needed, and test again on the intended connection.
Video appears, but audio is missing or distorted The encoder may be using the wrong audio source or an incompatible format, or the source itself may have an issue. Check the source audio, encoder input and supported audio codec; listen in the Live Control Room preview before publishing.
Live activation is unavailable The channel may not meet current eligibility requirements, or first-time activation may still be processing. Verify the channel and check YouTube’s current live-streaming requirements. First-time activation can take up to 24 hours.
