Give buyers three ways to reach you: add a business email and contact-page link to your channel profile, put the contact page in the stream description, and—when live chat is available—pin a short message with the link. The profile and description help replay viewers; a pinned message keeps the route visible during a horizontal live stream. In YouTube’s vertical mobile live feed, chat and description URLs may not be clickable, so direct viewers to your channel profile or give them an easy-to-enter contact route.
Set up contact details that remain on your channel
In YouTube Studio on a computer, open Customization > Profile. YouTube’s channel profile supports both a business email and persistent links.
- Under Contact info, enter the agent’s business email, then select Publish. YouTube describes this as a way to let people get in touch about business questions. It adds contact information to the channel profile; it does not create an on-video graphic.
- Under Links, add a clearly labelled URL for the agent’s contact page, then select Publish. YouTube allows up to 14 channel-profile links, and the first is displayed more prominently near the Subscribe button.
External clickable links require access to YouTube’s advanced features. If a link is not clickable, check the channel’s feature access and the viewing format before assuming the URL is broken.
Add the contact route to each property stream
Before the stream
When scheduling or editing the live stream, add the contact-page URL to its description. Use a concise label so viewers know what the page is for, such as “Questions about this property? Contact [Agent Name].” Keep the channel-profile link in place as a persistent alternative.

While the stream is live
If live chat is enabled, post a brief message such as: “Questions about this home? Contact [Agent Name]: [contact page].” Pin it in the chat so viewers can find it without scrolling. On a computer, use the chat window’s message menu during the live stream or Premiere and choose the pin action. Only one message can be pinned at a time; pinning another replaces the current pinned message.
Check the viewer’s format
Do not promise that the URL is clickable for every viewer. YouTube’s link guidance distinguishes horizontal viewing from the vertical live feed in the YouTube mobile app: links in live chat and channel descriptions are non-clickable in that vertical-feed context. If you expect viewers to watch vertically, tell them to open the channel profile or provide a short, memorable contact route they can enter themselves.

Keep the route useful after the broadcast
Leave the contact page in the stream description and on the channel profile so viewers who find the property tour later still have a way to follow up. YouTube says live chat replay is on by default for stream archives, but live chat itself is not available after a stream ends; viewers can comment below the player instead. A pinned chat message is therefore a live-view aid, not a replacement for the description and profile.
