If Streamlabs Recent Events or the Mini Feed has stopped showing new tips, follows, subscriptions, or other events, start by reconnecting Streamlabs to Twitch: log out of Streamlabs, disconnect its Twitch connection, clear your browser cookies and cache, then sign back in with Twitch. Streamlabs says this can help new events appear, but it will not restore events that are already missing. If events appear in the feed but not on your stream, troubleshoot the Event List or Alert Box separately.
Reconnect Streamlabs to Twitch
For events missing from Recent Events or the Mini Feed, Streamlabs’ topic-specific fix is to refresh the account connection. Follow the sequence below, including the logout before disconnecting Twitch.
- Log out of Streamlabs. Sign out of Streamlabs.com and all Streamlabs software you are using, such as Streamlabs Desktop or Stream Labels.
- Disconnect Streamlabs from Twitch. While still logged out, open Twitch’s connected-app settings and disconnect the Streamlabs entry used for Twitch alerts or the Streamlabs dashboard.
- Clear browser cookies and cache. Clear them in the browser you use for Streamlabs.
- Sign back in with Twitch. Log in to Streamlabs.com and/or the affected Streamlabs software using the Twitch account you want connected.
- Check your widgets. If you use Streamlabs widget or alert URLs in broadcasting software, verify them and update them if needed.
Streamlabs’ support article, “Recent Events / Mini Feed is not showing new events,” says: “This will not bring back any missing events into your feeds. It will only help moving forward.”
Work out whether the feed or the stream overlay is broken
Recent Events and the Mini Feed are where you review events in Streamlabs. An Event List is a widget that displays recent events to viewers; an Alert Box displays alerts. If the Streamlabs feed is updating but the stream preview is not, the account-feed reconnection alone may not fix the on-screen issue.

- Events missing from the Streamlabs feed: use the Twitch reconnection steps above.
- Events appear in Streamlabs but not in the stream preview: check the Alert Box or Event List source in your broadcasting software.
- Only one type of event is missing: check whether that event has a platform-specific limitation before changing every widget setting.
Streamlabs documents alerts for Streamlabs Desktop, its OBS plugin, and compatible broadcasting software. Its Event List setup guide covers the visual widget. If you use other broadcasting software, confirm that the browser source contains the right widget URL; Streamlabs explains where to find and use those URLs in its widget URL guide.
Fix an Event List or Alert Box that is not displaying
Use these checks when the symptom is an on-stream widget or alert, rather than events missing from the Recent Events / Mini Feed. Streamlabs’ Alerts/Widget Troubleshooting guide includes the following checks:

- Make sure alerts are not paused. A paused alert system can prevent alerts from appearing even if the account is connected.
- Refresh or re-add the browser source. If that does not help, confirm the source uses the current widget URL.
- Relink the account. Reauthorize the relevant platform account if the widget or alert connection is no longer working.
- Clear the streaming software’s browser cache. This is separate from clearing cookies and cache in your regular browser.
- Send a test alert. Testing helps distinguish a display problem from an event that has not reached the widget.
- Check widget-specific settings. Source layering, browser hardware acceleration, moderation delay, alert variations, theme selection, and custom HTML or CSS can affect how an alert behaves or appears.
Streamlabs’ alert setup guide describes its alert setup. Avoid treating overlay checks as replacements for the dedicated Recent Events reconnection steps when the events themselves are absent from the feed.
Check whether the missing event depends on the platform
If the connection and widget are working but just one event category is absent, the event may depend on platform behavior. Streamlabs’ troubleshooting guidance notes that a Twitch resubscription may not appear unless the subscriber shares it in chat. It also says YouTube subscriber alerts can be delayed by up to four hours. Streamlabs attributes these cases to platform/API limitations; they do not explain every empty or stale feed.
