In Streamlabs Desktop, open Settings > Get Support > Upload Diagnostic Report. The app uploads the report and copies a diagnostic code to your clipboard; paste that code into the Streamlabs support conversation or ticket where it was requested.
Generate and send the report

Open Streamlabs Desktop and click the Settings gear icon.

Select Get Support.

Click Upload Diagnostic Report and allow the upload to finish.

Paste the diagnostic code, which Streamlabs says is copied automatically, into the support conversation or ticket where support asked for it.

If another action has replaced the clipboard contents, click the interface’s Copy button to copy the code again. Streamlabs describes the diagnostic report as a built-in tool to help its support team and developers identify and resolve issues. Streamlabs Diagnostic Report (updated September 4, 2026).
What the report includes
This is broader than a crash log. Streamlabs lists information about the app’s current state, its configuration, connected platforms, and the computer and devices it is running on.

Streamlabs and account details: report creation date, app version and bundle, connected platforms and usernames, logged-in platform, the five most recent stream error logs, and crash-log dates and times.

App configuration: Video, Output, Advanced > Network, and Audio settings; the active scene collection; scenes, sources and their settings; and transitions and connections.

Computer and device details: operating system, CPU model and core count, total and free memory, GPU model and driver version/update date, whether Streamlabs Desktop is running as administrator, monitor resolution and refresh rate, and available audio input/output and video capture devices.
These details can help support investigate configuration, device, streaming, or stability problems. Review the scope before sending the code, particularly if you do not want to share platform usernames or scene and source configuration.

What Streamlabs says about privacy
Streamlabs states that “There is no identifying personal information gathered other than your usernames.” It also says information is stored and disposed of according to GDPR regulations and that only Streamlabs employees can access report information. Its report instructions do not specify a retention period or describe particular encryption or data-sharing arrangements. Read Streamlabs’ report guidance for its stated privacy details.
Diagnostic report or extra crash reporting?
The ordinary Diagnostic Report is a general support snapshot submitted through the app and returned as a diagnostic code. It is not the separate procedure for collecting extra information about a crash.

When Streamlabs Desktop opens, go to Settings > Get Support.

Enable Enable reporting additional information on a crash, then restart the app.

After a subsequent crash, share the additional debug information as directed by Streamlabs. The guide notes that upload can take several minutes.

If the app will not open, that crash guide directs users to %appdata%, locate slobs-client, and create a CrashMemoryDump folder before trying to launch the app. This is a crash-troubleshooting fallback, not a prerequisite for uploading the regular Diagnostic Report.
If the upload or code does not work

You cannot find the option: confirm that you are in Streamlabs Desktop’s Settings > Get Support, rather than another Streamlabs app or a general settings page.

The code is no longer on the clipboard: use the report interface’s Copy button, then paste the code into the support conversation or ticket.

Streamlabs Desktop will not open: the in-app ordinary report path requires access to its settings. If support needs crash-specific data, follow the separate crash guide’s instructions instead.

Support asked for crash debug information rather than a diagnostic code: use the extra crash-reporting procedure; the two outputs serve different troubleshooting requests.
