To run Hindi devotional songs continuously on YouTube Live without leaving a computer on, use a cloud service that can loop prerecorded videos, or build and operate your own cloud encoding pipeline. Either way, you still create a YouTube stream in Studio and connect the encoder with its server URL and stream key. Clear the rights to every recording and artwork first: devotional subject matter does not make a song or recording public domain.
Choose a cloud method for continuous YouTube playback
There are two practical approaches. For the AWS route, the documented architecture can use MediaLive for live output and MediaPackage and CloudFront in a broader delivery workflow. That is not the same as simply sending one encoder feed to YouTube, and it can be unnecessary complexity for a single channel.
Clear the music and visual rights before setup
Check the rights for each composition, arrangement, sound recording, and visual asset, including devotional artwork and any loop video. Confirm that your permission covers live streaming and, if you plan to keep a replay, the archive as well. Rights can vary by territory and use. A download, an earlier upload, a religious theme, or a license for another use does not establish permission for a YouTube live stream.

- Get confirmation from the relevant owners, label, or distributor for the specific tracks and recordings.
- Ask the rights owner to add your YouTube channel to its Content ID allowlist when required. YouTube warns that a licensed stream can still be interrupted if the channel is not allowlisted.
- Plan for YouTube’s live matching: it scans streams for third-party content, and a match may replace the stream with a placeholder and warn you to stop using the content. Continued use may interrupt or terminate the stream.
- Expect claims on archived material to be made after the live stream ends if you archive it.
YouTube for Artists recommends coordinating with a label or distributor when using copyright-protected music. The official guidance does not establish that any particular Hindi devotional song is cleared.
Prepare the files and choose a service or pipeline
Prepare recordings and visuals
Gather the cleared audio or video files, artwork, captions, and any visual loop you intend to use. Organize them into the desired playback order or playlist. Decide whether the live stream will have a single fixed visual or several changing visuals, and test the actual material rather than relying on a silent placeholder.

Build a custom AWS workflow
AWS documents a configurable live-channel approach, including a 24×7 channel. Its solution uses cloud video services such as MediaLive and may include MediaPackage and CloudFront. This option calls for someone to configure and operate the infrastructure, estimate the bill for the chosen region and usage, and monitor the channel. AWS cost examples for viewer delivery should not be mistaken for an encoder-feed price to YouTube.
Create the YouTube Live stream and connect the encoder
- Enable live streaming if needed. YouTube says first-time enablement can take up to 24 hours; this is an upper estimate, not a guaranteed activation time.
- Open YouTube Studio. Select Create → Go Live, then create a stream or schedule one in the Live Control Room.
- Copy the connection details. Get the server URL and stream key from the Live Control Room and enter them in the cloud encoder’s stream settings. Treat the key like a password: do not publish it or share it with anyone who should not control the broadcast.
- Start the encoder and check the preview. Confirm that YouTube receives the feed and that the Live Control Room reports healthy stream status before relying on the stream or promoting it.
- End the stream deliberately. Stop the encoder feed to end the live broadcast. A scheduled stream can also be ended in the Live Control Room. Scheduling provides a watch page that you can promote in advance.
Choose stream quality, bitrate, and protocol
Use settings supported by both your encoder and YouTube, and make sure the cloud-to-YouTube connection can sustain the selected bitrate. YouTube recommends RTMPS for encrypted ingestion and provides bitrate guidance by resolution and frame rate. Its current guidance supports H.264, H.265/HEVC, and AV1; exact settings should be selected from YouTube’s current encoder recommendations and the chosen service’s supported options.

For a devotional stream built around a static image or modest visual loop, there is usually little reason to encode at 4K. Choose a resolution and frame rate appropriate to the source and intended viewing experience rather than increasing quality without a visual need. Test with representative audio and movement, then monitor stream health and warning messages during operation.

- Run a private or otherwise suitable test using the actual song levels, transitions, and visuals planned for the channel.
- Watch the Live Control Room’s stream health and resolve warnings before announcing the stream as dependable.
- Have a plan for a dropped YouTube connection. StreamNeo includes automatic recovery; for other providers, confirm how reconnects and continuous playback are handled rather than assuming identical behavior.
- Do not treat one broadcast as an indefinite archive. YouTube automatically archives streams that are under 12 hours; this does not guarantee that longer streams will be archived or that any stream will remain live indefinitely.
- Recheck the channel’s rights and allowlisting status if the playlist changes, a new recording is added, or territorial restrictions apply.
Understand the cost of a custom cloud pipeline
AWS’s current solution estimate accessed in 2026 gives scenario examples, not a quote for feeding a single live stream to YouTube. In US East (N. Virginia), AWS estimates approximately $69.74 for a one-hour 540p event with about 1,000 viewers, including about $2.50 for encoding and packaging and $67.24 for CloudFront distribution. Its example for a one-hour 1080p event with about 10,000 viewers is approximately $1,505.60, assuming high-bitrate viewer consumption and a 99% cache/hit ratio. Those totals depend on region, bitrate, viewers, and cache assumptions, and AWS prices can change. They illustrate how viewer delivery can dominate an AWS-hosted delivery stack; they are not YouTube feed prices.
