Choose a start mode
- Infinite Loop: starts immediately and repeats the playlist continuously.
- Schedule Date Time: starts at the selected date and time. Castr says its scheduler uses the device’s time zone, so check that setting before scheduling.

How StreamYard handles prerecorded streams

Plan announcement timing before creating the stream
StreamYard says you cannot add an announcement after creating the scheduled stream or change its announcement time afterward. You can replace the selected video before the stream goes live. Schedule the announcement early enough if you need the YouTube link in advance.
Check duration and concurrent schedules
StreamYard’s help article lists these prerecorded video limits and concurrent scheduled prerecorded stream caps. Its pricing page currently confirms the Core and Advanced duration limits; plan terms can change, so check the live pages before subscribing.

Confirm destination support
StreamYard says advance scheduling supports YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, and StreamYard On-Air. It does not support advance scheduling for X, Instagram, or custom RTMP destinations, according to its scheduling guide.
