There is no verified, fully free cloud option in the cited provider offers that can be recommended as an uninterrupted 24/7 prerecorded YouTube stream from India. Google Cloud’s always-free VM is limited to selected US regions and has tight resource allowances; its managed Live Stream API is paid. Oracle advertises selected media services in its Free Tier, but its public page does not establish that a complete continuous workflow is covered. Amazon IVS’s free allowances are far too limited for round-the-clock use.
If zero spend is essential, treat any cloud setup as a carefully monitored trial: configure billing controls, verify the precise quotas in your account, and test the complete stream before relying on it. If dependable continuous playback matters more than a nominally free VM, compare the actual cost of compute, storage, transfer, media processing and recovery.
What counts as a free 24/7 cloud stream?
A prerecorded coaching stream needs a cloud service to store or access the recording, send it continuously to YouTube, and recover if the process or connection fails. “Free” must cover the whole workload for as long as the channel is live—not just a trial credit, a small monthly VM allowance, or a few hours of media input.
The price and feasibility also depend on the recording’s resolution and bitrate, operating hours, audience and whether the cloud must encode or transcode the video. Without those details, a reliable workload-specific cost cannot be calculated. Provider offers and regional availability can change, so confirm the current terms in your own account before deployment.

Options at a glance
| Option | What the offer establishes | India and 24/7 suitability |
|---|---|---|
| StreamNeo | Cloud playback for YouTube, with the first day free and no card required; thereafter paid by slot and duration. | Designed for always-on YouTube playback; not a permanently free option. |
| Google Cloud e2-micro VM | One eligible VM monthly in specified US regions, with limited disk and transfer allowances; trial credit is temporary. | Not an India-region free VM, and its resource limits make a continuous workload a constrained pilot rather than a verified 24/7 solution. |
| Google Cloud Live Stream API | Metered service with no free usage tier. | Not a free option; session handling also requires planning for restart. |
| Oracle OCI Media Streams / Media Flow | Oracle India advertises selected services without a time limit in its Free Tier, but does not publish enough workload quota detail on the cited page to confirm this full use case. | Worth checking in an eligible account, but not a verified free end-to-end pipeline. |

2. Google Cloud: a tightly limited VM pilot, not a free India VM
What the always-free allowance covers
Google Cloud’s Free Tier includes one e2-micro VM per month in Oregon, Iowa or South Carolina, plus 30 GB-months of standard persistent disk and 1 GB of monthly outbound data transfer from North America. Those VM regions are in the United States, not India. New trial customers may receive $300 in welcome credit valid for 90 days; that is temporary trial credit, not a permanent allowance. See the Google Cloud Free Tier terms.

Why YouTube transfer pricing needs careful reading
Google lists data transfer from a Compute Engine VM to YouTube among VM-to-Google service traffic priced at no charge. That destination-specific treatment does not make the VM itself free in every region or remove limits on compute, disk, or other resources. Nor should it be confused with the separate 1 GB general outbound transfer allowance. Check the current network pricing details against the exact services and destinations in your setup.
What to verify before using the VM
- Confirm your account and the exact VM configuration qualify for the Free Tier in an eligible region.
- Check that the video playback process can run reliably within the VM’s CPU and memory constraints; do not assume it can encode a high-resolution stream.
- Account for disk, source-file storage, logs, monitoring and any services outside the free limits.
- Use billing alerts or other available spending controls, and monitor actual usage. Alerts help identify spend but should not be treated as a hard cap unless configured as one.
- Test reconnect and restart behavior. A free-tier allowance does not itself provide stream recovery.
3. Google Cloud Live Stream API: managed, but not free
The Live Stream API is a separate managed product, not simply a VM running a media process. Google states that it has no free usage tier and is priced on demand. Its quota guidance says a session may need restarting after 24 hours in a streaming state other than stopped or stopping, so plan for controlled restarts rather than assuming a single session runs indefinitely. Review Live Stream API pricing and its quotas before estimating a continuous workload.

4. Oracle OCI: a candidate to investigate, not a confirmed free pipeline
Oracle’s India page advertises OCI Media Streams and Media Flow among selected Free Tier services with no time limit, alongside US$300 in credits for trying additional cloud services. However, that page does not specify enough quotas to confirm that a complete 24/7 YouTube workflow—including media operations, storage and transfer—is covered. Treat it as an account-specific candidate, not a promise of a free stream. Verify regional availability, eligible services and limits in your account and the Oracle India Media Services offer.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.5. Amazon IVS: metered and undersized for round-the-clock use
Amazon IVS charges for video input and output delivered to viewers. Its pricing page lists five hours of basic-channel live input and 100 hours of SD or audio-only output per month for new customers during the first 12 months, plus small feature-specific allowances. New customers may also receive up to US$200 in AWS Free Tier credits under the offer described there; those credits are time-limited and apply only to eligible services. These allowances do not cover a 24/7 stream. Check the Amazon IVS pricing page for current terms and eligible services.

Meet YouTube’s requirements before choosing a host
A cloud VM or media service does not bypass YouTube’s channel rules. YouTube’s live-stream eligibility page says a channel must be verified and must not have live-streaming restrictions in the prior 90 days. It currently lists a maximum of 10 active streams per channel and three per stream key. All live content must comply with YouTube’s Community Guidelines and Terms of Service. The eligibility page does not specifically approve every always-on prerecorded coaching format, so assess the content and rights yourself; a hosting method is not an exemption. See YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility requirements.
How to decide whether a free tier is enough
- Define the stream. Record resolution, frame rate, bitrate, file size, daily run time, expected audience and whether cloud encoding is needed.
- Map every billable component. Include compute or media input, storage, transfer, processing, logs and any delivery charges—not only the headline free allowance.
- Check region and availability. Confirm that the service is available to your account in the intended region. A US-only free VM may add latency for administration or file transfer from India, even where a particular VM-to-YouTube traffic category is no-charge.
- Set spending safeguards. Configure billing alerts and usage controls before launching, then check actual usage during a short test.
- Test operational recovery. Confirm the stream resumes after a process crash, VM restart or YouTube disconnect, and decide how to handle planned session restarts.
- Reassess after the trial. Separate expiring credits from recurring free quotas. If the service cannot sustain the defined workload within an ongoing allowance, compare paid hosting or a managed playback service.
Or let it run in the cloud
With StreamNeo, upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. Nothing has to stay on at home; the stream runs from the cloud. Any uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps is included at one price per slot, and StreamNeo automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card; the monthly option is $9.99 per month. In India, UPI works as well as cards. Start the free day on StreamNeo.
