Schedule aarti as recurring segments in the system that plays your continuous stream—not as separate daily YouTube broadcasts. Use YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room to create and start the broadcast, then use an encoder or cloud playout service that can switch to the morning and evening aarti on the schedule you set. YouTube’s scheduling tools manage the broadcast; they do not, by themselves, schedule recurring segments inside it.
Choose how the aarti fits into your stream
Recurring segments in one continuous feed
For a channel that stays live around the clock, schedule the aarti as recurring items in the stream’s playout workflow. The feed remains one continuous broadcast while the encoder or playout system changes the video at the chosen times. YouTube’s documentation describes the broadcast and encoder handoff, but does not specify a daily segment scheduler. Confirm that your selected system supports recurring playlists or scheduled media changes.
Separate scheduled broadcasts
Create separate YouTube broadcast pages if the morning and evening services need their own discovery pages, viewer reminders, or distinct archives. YouTube’s Live Streaming API documentation describes a 24/7 feed coexisting with a separate broadcast. Separate pages are not necessary just to insert aarti into a continuous feed.
Set the aarti schedule for your community
There is no universal morning or evening aarti time established by the YouTube sources. Choose times with the temple, tradition, and audience in mind, and label them in the time zone viewers should use. If your audience spans regions, state the time zone clearly rather than implying the schedule applies everywhere.

Before depending on automation, check how the production system handles its time zone, daylight-saving changes, restarts, and missed schedule events. Decide whether someone will monitor the stream and what should play if an aarti file is unavailable or the encoder reconnects.
Create and start the YouTube broadcast
- Open YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room. Create or schedule the broadcast there. A scheduled broadcast can be promoted so viewers can find it and receive reminders.
- Choose an encoder or playout system. YouTube supports encoder-based streaming using software or a standalone hardware device; dedicated hardware is optional. For recurring aarti, verify that the chosen system can play the required media and automate the daily transitions.
- Copy the stream URL and stream key. Add YouTube’s server URL and stream key to the encoder. Treat the key as a credential: do not publish it or include it in viewer-facing descriptions.
- Configure the recurring playlist or schedule in the production system. Add the morning and evening aarti files at the locally selected times, and specify what the feed should play between them. YouTube does not provide the recurring segment automation described here; these controls depend on the encoder or playout system.
- Start the encoder and check the preview. Wait for the incoming feed to appear in Live Control Room, verify picture and sound, then click Go live for the scheduled broadcast.
- Verify the first scheduled transitions. Check that each segment starts at the intended local time and that the feed resumes its regular programming afterward. Confirm the behavior after a restart or temporary connection loss before leaving the channel unattended.
YouTube describes an encoder as converting video into a digital format for streaming. A hardware encoder is one option; software can also send the feed. Evaluate a system against the needs that matter here: recurring schedules, timezone and daylight-saving handling, playlist or scene changes, restart recovery, monitoring, and long-stream archive behavior. Do not assume a device or program supports automated aarti transitions unless its own current documentation confirms it.

Plan archives and ads separately
YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. That does not establish that an uninterrupted 24/7 feed will be saved as one complete video. Plan how viewers will access past aarti and verify YouTube’s current archive behavior for the duration you intend to stream.
YouTube’s Live Streaming API documents automatic and scheduled mid-roll cuepoints. Whether to enable ads during devotional programming is an editorial choice; the documentation does not establish what is appropriate or guarantee revenue.

Troubleshoot scheduling and continuity
- The aarti does not start at the expected time: Check the production system’s selected timezone, the scheduled item’s time, and daylight-saving settings. Confirm whether the schedule requires the encoder or a particular playlist to be running.
- The feed stays live but the program does not change: YouTube’s broadcast can remain active while segment switching fails in the production system. Check the recurring playlist or scene schedule and whether the media item is available to the playout system.
- The stream does not appear in Live Control Room: Check that the encoder has the correct YouTube server URL and stream key, then confirm it is sending a signal. Wait for the preview before selecting Go live.
- A restart or dropped connection disrupts the schedule: Find out whether the encoder resumes the current item, restarts the playlist, or needs operator intervention. Test this behavior in advance and arrange monitoring or alerts appropriate to the channel.
- You expect one archive for the entire 24/7 feed: Do not assume that outcome from YouTube’s under-12-hour archive rule. Check current platform behavior and decide whether shorter broadcasts or another archive workflow better meet your needs.
Check copyright and channel suitability
Use recordings and music that the channel is permitted to stream, and check the relevant rights for each item in the playlist. The YouTube scheduling and encoder documentation does not determine whether devotional recordings are cleared for use or whether a channel qualifies for monetization. Keep the stream’s schedule and programming transparent, and review YouTube’s current policies before publishing or monetizing content.
