To run Sai Sandhya continuously on YouTube Live, use an encoder that can play your recording or playlist for the full broadcast, or a cloud service that does it for you. First enable live streaming on your channel, confirm you have worldwide live-stream rights to every recording, then create a stream in YouTube Studio and test the complete setup before launching. A local setup needs power, internet and recovery planning; a cloud setup moves playback and delivery off your computer.
Before you set up the stream
Enable live streaming early
YouTube requires channel verification and no live-streaming restrictions in the past 90 days. First-time live-streaming activation can take up to 24 hours, so enable it well before the planned start. YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility guidance covers the channel requirements.
Confirm rights for the Sai Sandhya recording
You need the necessary rights for the music and other content in the broadcast, including the applicable territories. YouTube’s live-stream terms say creators must hold the rights needed to exploit Live Content on Google services worldwide, including music licensing rights and relevant public-performance permissions. A devotional or religious purpose does not itself grant those rights.
YouTube scans live streams for third-party matches. If a rights holder has not allowlisted your channel, a stream may be interrupted even if you have a license; YouTube may replace the broadcast with a placeholder, and persistent matches can lead to interruption or termination. Confirm with the rights holder that the license covers live streaming and whether the channel must be allowlisted. See YouTube’s live-stream copyright guidance.

Creator Music is not a workaround for a live devotional stream: YouTube says videos using covered Creator Music tracks cannot be live streams. Check the applicable Creator Music usage details and use only material cleared for live use.
Decide how viewers will access a replay
YouTube automatically archives streams shorter than 12 hours. Its encoder guidance does not promise a complete archive for one broadcast longer than 12 hours. If a complete replay matters, plan separate sessions under 12 hours or retain an independent recording, and check the current archive behavior in YouTube Studio rather than assuming a 24-hour broadcast will be saved in full. See YouTube’s encoder guidance.

Choose how to keep the stream running
| Approach | Where playback runs | What to plan for |
|---|---|---|
| Computer and software encoder | On your computer | Keep the computer powered and connected; plan for software, network and power interruptions, and monitor the run. |
| Standalone hardware encoder | On a dedicated encoder | Check that its inputs and YouTube protocol support suit your source, and understand how it restarts after interruptions. |
| Cloud service | At the provider | Check the provider’s current capabilities, pricing, recovery behavior and handling of your stream key. |
YouTube supports software and standalone hardware encoders and identifies cloud services for continuous streaming of prerecorded video. The categories are operating choices, not guarantees of unattended recovery: verify the particular setup you select. For local streaming, the computer and connection have to remain available; a cloud workflow moves that ongoing operation away from your home equipment. YouTube’s encoder overview names cloud options, but does not establish their current plans or reliability.
Set up a local encoder workflow
- Enable the channel. Verify the channel and turn on live streaming in YouTube Studio. Allow up to 24 hours for first-time activation.
- Create or schedule the broadcast. Open YouTube Studio, go to Live Control Room and create a stream or schedule one. Choose its title, privacy and other stream details. Scheduling gives you a watch page to share in advance.
- Prepare the source. Load the Sai Sandhya video or playlist in your encoder. Check the full playlist order, audio level, and what happens when playback reaches its end; ensure the source can loop if continuous playback is intended.
- Connect YouTube’s ingest details. In Live Control Room, obtain the stream URL and stream key, then enter them in the encoder’s YouTube destination settings. Select the ingest option supported by both YouTube and the encoder. Treat the key like a password: enter it only in the intended encoder, restrict access, and reset it in Live Control Room if it may have been exposed. See YouTube’s stream settings guidance.
- Check the preview before going live. Start the encoder and confirm the incoming picture and sound in Live Control Room. Check that the correct stream and privacy setting are selected before starting the public broadcast.
- Test the whole operation. Run a test long enough to catch playback, audio, network and power problems. YouTube recommends testing encoder failover, checking that local archive files grow when recording locally, opening the watch page on a mobile device, and monitoring audio and video quality. Its event guidance suggests setting up an encoder at least two hours before an event and starting it at least 15 minutes beforehand; those are recommendations for event preparation, not stated requirements for an indefinitely running broadcast. See YouTube’s streaming tips.
- Keep the local setup operational. Disable sleep or shutdown that would stop playback, provide stable power and internet, and decide who will notice and respond if the encoder, connection or source fails. Test the recovery path instead of assuming a restart will happen unattended.
Or let it run in the cloud
StreamNeo keeps a YouTube channel live from uploaded videos or a playlist: upload the recording, add your YouTube stream key once, then go live. The stream runs from the cloud, so no computer, OBS or home connection has to stay on. It streams the uploaded file as made, up to 4K 60fps, at one flat price per slot; it also includes 24/7 looping and playlists, 10 GB storage per slot pooled across active slots, and automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. Monthly pricing is $9.99 per month. StreamNeo is for YouTube streams of uploaded videos, not camera broadcasts. See StreamNeo for details, then start the free day.

Keep the stream secure and dependable
- Protect the key. Do not post it in a video, chat, public document or shared screenshot. If it is compromised, reset it in Live Control Room and update the encoder.
- Check rights status, not just the preview. A clean preview does not establish that a rights holder has allowlisted the channel or that the license covers live use and all relevant territories.
- Verify recovery. Test what happens after a network interruption, encoder restart or power loss. YouTube recommends testing failover; any recovery not confirmed in your chosen setup should be treated as a manual task.
- Monitor both video and sound. Check the live watch page on mobile as well as the encoder preview, and listen for silence, distortion or unexpected gaps.
- Separate continuous availability from replay retention. For an archive, retain a local recording or schedule shorter sessions rather than relying on a single stream longer than 12 hours.
Troubleshoot common problems
| Symptom | Likely cause | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| You cannot start a live stream | Channel verification or live-stream activation is incomplete, or the channel has an active restriction. | Check the channel’s eligibility in YouTube Studio, complete verification, and allow up to 24 hours for first-time activation. |
| YouTube receives no signal | The encoder is stopped, the ingest URL or stream key is wrong, or the network is unavailable. | Check encoder status and connectivity, then verify the URL and key against the stream selected in Live Control Room. Reset the key if it may have been exposed. |
| The stream is replaced or interrupted | A third-party content match may have been detected, or an interruption may have stopped the encoder or delivery. | Check Live Control Room notices. Confirm live-use rights and any allowlist requirement with the rights holder; separately check the encoder and connection and use the recovery process you tested. |
| Picture is present but audio is missing or poor | The source, playlist item or encoder audio path may be silent, misrouted or distorted. | Listen to the encoder source and YouTube preview, inspect the selected audio input and playlist items, and correct the source before continuing. |
| The 24-hour broadcast has no complete replay | YouTube’s stated automatic archive coverage is for streams under 12 hours; a complete archive is not promised for longer broadcasts. | Keep an independent recording or divide replay-dependent programming into shorter sessions, then verify the saved video in Studio. |
Costs and practical trade-offs
A local encoder avoids a cloud-service subscription, but the computer or hardware, power, internet connection and monitoring remain part of the operating cost. A cloud service has a recurring service cost and shifts the streaming operation away from local equipment. Compare the actual cost and recovery provisions of the setup you choose; YouTube’s encoder guidance does not establish current prices or reliability for the named third-party providers. Rights clearance is a separate requirement whichever method you use.
