Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteTo stream a fireplace video on YouTube around the clock, run an encoder on a cloud server, connect it to a YouTube Live stream with the stream URL and stream key, and keep the encoder sending the video feed. YouTube does not guarantee that a single uninterrupted 24-hour broadcast will be archived or fully rewindable, so plan for separate recording and test the setup before relying on it.
Choose how to keep the fireplace stream running
- StreamNeo: #1 for a managed YouTube-only option: it loops uploaded videos from the cloud, with any uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, and the first day is free.
- Self-managed cloud server: Run and maintain your own encoder on a cloud host. This gives you control over the encoder configuration, while setup, monitoring, recovery planning and the host’s cost are your responsibility.
- Another managed option: YouTube’s encoder guidance lists Gyre for 24/7 live streaming of prerecorded video. That listing is not a performance endorsement or a cost comparison.
The steps below cover the self-managed server method. YouTube’s documentation explains the connection workflow, but does not establish a universal server size, operating system or monthly cost; those depend on your encoding configuration and provider. See YouTube’s encoder setup guidance.
Prepare the YouTube channel and video
Enable live streaming ahead of launch
Confirm that the channel is verified and has no live-streaming restriction in the previous 90 days. First-time live-stream activation can take up to 24 hours, so enable it well before you plan to start the fireplace broadcast. YouTube’s current eligibility steps are in Get started with live streaming.
Clear the rights to the complete loop
Make sure you have the necessary rights to stream and archive both the fireplace footage and every sound in it, including music or ambient audio. A video or soundtrack found online is not automatically cleared for continuous rebroadcast. You are responsible for complying with YouTube’s Community Guidelines and applicable laws; consult YouTube’s livestream terms and conditions.
#1 Best Overall
- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Prepare a video file you are authorized to use and decide what viewers will hear when it loops. Check the transition from the end back to the beginning: an abrupt audio gap, flash or black frame can be especially noticeable when the same footage repeats for hours.
Connect a cloud encoder to YouTube Live
- Create or select the live stream in YouTube Studio. Open the stream’s settings and locate the YouTube stream URL and stream key. The exact screen can depend on the live-stream setup you choose in Studio.
- Configure an encoder on your cloud server. Enter YouTube’s stream URL as the destination and the matching stream key as the credential. Treat the key like a password: anyone with access to it may be able to send a feed to your stream. YouTube documents the connection but does not prescribe a particular cloud secret-storage system.
- Set the encoder to play the prerecorded fireplace video continuously. Configure looping or a playlist in the encoder, and confirm that it sends both the intended picture and audio. The precise controls vary by encoder, so use its documentation for the loop and output settings rather than assuming a universal command or preset.
- Check server upload capacity. YouTube recommends keeping about 20% upload-bandwidth headroom above the outgoing bitrate. If you send primary and backup encoder feeds at the same time, account for both feeds when checking capacity. See YouTube’s streaming tips.
- Start the encoder and verify the preview. In YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room, check that the incoming video and audio look and sound right before relying on the broadcast. Confirm the event is accessible as intended and test the encoder failover process if you have configured one.
Test for continuous operation and keep a separate archive
Monitor the feed and recovery plan
A successful preview confirms the connection at that moment, not that the broadcast will run unattended indefinitely. Test the stream before launch, monitor audio and video quality, and check that your failover arrangement works if you use one. YouTube’s streaming tips include preview, monitoring and encoder-failover checks.

Do not rely on YouTube to save one uninterrupted 24-hour stream
YouTube says streams under 12 hours can be automatically archived, while a stream longer than 12 hours may not be captured at all. If you need a durable copy, keep a separate recording or use deliberate shorter sessions, and retain an independent backup. YouTube recommends local recording as a backup; an external SSD is one possible place to store that optional recording. See Archive live streams.
DVR may also be limited or unavailable on very long broadcasts, including streams longer than 12 hours. Do not promise viewers that they can rewind the entire uninterrupted fireplace stream; consult YouTube’s DVR guidance.

Troubleshoot common setup problems
- YouTube does not accept the feed: Check that live streaming is enabled, that you selected the intended stream, and that the encoder has the matching stream URL and stream key. If this is the channel’s first activation, allow up to 24 hours for enablement.
- The stream starts but the picture or sound is wrong: Review the encoder’s video and audio source and output settings, then inspect the Live Control Room preview before announcing the stream.
- The feed becomes unstable under load: Compare the server’s available upload bandwidth with the outgoing bitrate, preserve YouTube’s recommended approximately 20% headroom, and include any simultaneous backup feed in the calculation.
- The broadcast ends unexpectedly: Check the encoder and server monitoring, then test the recovery or failover setup. YouTube recommends testing encoder failover where it is configured; a test is not a guarantee against every interruption.
- There is no complete replay after a long broadcast: YouTube may not capture streams longer than 12 hours, and DVR can be limited on very long streams. Use a separate recording or shorter sessions if the archive matters.
Or let it run in the cloud
With StreamNeo, upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. StreamNeo loops the uploaded video from the cloud, so no computer or home connection has to stay on. It supports the video as uploaded up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream, and includes 10 GB storage per slot pooled across active slots. The first day is free with no card; after that, the Monthly option is $9.99 per month. The service plays uploaded videos and streams to YouTube; it does not broadcast a live camera feed.
