The exact QR-export steps depend on the provider’s app and account; the available official documentation does not establish current menu names for either one.
Choose the QR for the account you want viewers to pay
Use a QR tied to the intended receiving account, and verify the payee information shown to a payer before displaying it. BharatPe’s merchant app listing advertises a single QR that accepts payments from PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm, BHIM, Amazon UPI, and more than 150 other banking apps. PhonePe’s terms describe using a VPA to pay at merchant locations through a QR in the PhonePe app. They do not say that only PhonePe can scan such a QR. PhonePe terms and conditions
Choose based on the receiving account you intend to use and the payment apps your audience may have. Keep the QR current: if the provider replaces or changes it, update the image in your encoder. The available provider documentation does not establish a comparison of fees, settlement speed, or streamer-specific features.

Add the QR as an encoder overlay
YouTube identifies encoders as a livestreaming method commonly used for streams with overlays and hardware. Its support material describes adding a browser source for a YouTube break overlay, but does not give payment-QR-specific instructions. - Retrieve the current QR image. Open the official BharatPe merchant account or PhonePe account associated with the intended receiving details and obtain its current QR. Follow the app’s current instructions; do not rely on guessed menu names or an old saved image.
- Add it to the encoder scene. Add the image as an image source or equivalent overlay, then resize and position it so it does not obscure gameplay, captions, or other essential stream content.
- Check the outgoing preview. Inspect the composed stream in the encoder and, if possible, view the outgoing preview on a second device. Confirm that the QR is visible and legible at the size viewers will see, and that it belongs to the intended payee. These are practical checks, not a guarantee that every viewer’s screen or payment app will behave identically.
- Keep payment requests safe. Never ask viewers to send you a UPI PIN, OTP, or banking credentials. A payment QR should not require a viewer to disclose those secrets to you.
What viewers can click—and what YouTube’s policies say
YouTube’s external-links policy applies to livestreams and prohibits links that direct viewers to destinations that violate Community Guidelines, including phishing sites. It does not expressly determine whether every ordinary payment QR overlay is allowed, so do not describe a QR display as specifically approved by YouTube. If you also post a payment link in chat, its behavior depends on the viewing format: YouTube says links in live chat are clickable for horizontal live streams, but not clickable in the vertical live feed when viewed in the mobile app. YouTube Help: links in live chat

YouTube lists ads, Super Chat and Super Stickers, and channel memberships as live-stream earning options, subject to channel eligibility and settings.
