Yes, you can put replay videos from different games in one YouTube playlist. But a playlist is a collection of videos, not a documented way to create one continuous live broadcast that automatically plays and switches between games. For an ongoing live rerun, configure a live stream separately; add its replay to the playlist afterward.
What “one playlist” can mean
One playlist of replays: yes
YouTube defines a playlist as “a collection of videos.” Its playlist guidance does not require videos to cover the same game, so you can group replays from several games together. One live broadcast that switches games: not through the playlist itself
YouTube’s documented workflow treats playlists and live broadcasts as separate features. Its live-stream setup covers configuring a broadcast, its settings, and the stream key or URL used by an encoder; the guidance reviewed does not describe a playlist as the source of a continuous live stream. This does not rule out every third-party automation or encoder setup—it means playlist support for that use is not established by YouTube’s cited guidance. How to build a mixed-game rerun playlist
- Set up each broadcast separately. In YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room, create and configure each live broadcast using a suitable method, such as an encoder, console, webcam, or mobile device. - Use the replay or archive after the broadcast. YouTube says a channel may post a replay or highlights after a live stream ends; its promotion guidance says archives are uploaded by default. - Add each game’s replay to the shared playlist. You can keep one playlist for a mixed-game rerun library, or make separate playlists if viewers would benefit from browsing by game. The choice is organizational; YouTube’s playlist guidance describes collections of videos without requiring a shared game topic.
- Identify the game accurately on each video. Use an accurate title, description, and category for each replay. YouTube notes that gaming videos can appear on game pages and advises checking those fields if a video appears under the wrong topic. Choose a mixed archive playlist when the main goal is letting viewers browse past streams in one place. Choose separate configured broadcasts when the goal is live viewing. These are different publishing patterns, not two settings for the same playlist.
