Not by itself, according to Switchboard Live’s current documentation. Switchboard expects an encoder or streaming application to send it video; it can forward that feed to YouTube, but its documentation does not describe a built-in playlist or multi-video loop. To repeat prerecorded videos, configure the playback or encoder source to sequence and loop them, then send its output through Switchboard.
What Switchboard Live does—and what it does not document
Switchboard Live sits between your streaming software or encoder and the destinations you choose. Its setup guide describes entering a Switchboard Stream URL and Stream Key in the encoder, checking that Switchboard is receiving the feed, and then starting the destination. It lists OBS, Zoom, vMix, LiveU, Ecamm, and Blackmagic as examples of software or encoders. Switchboard Live Initial Setup
Switchboard’s FAQ says prerecorded video can be used when the encoder supports prerecorded-video streaming, and that Switchboard does not store those videos. The FAQ does not specify a playlist-repeat control. So the practical division of work is: your playback source handles the files and looping; Switchboard receives and forwards the resulting live feed. Switchboard’s prerecorded-video FAQ
This is a statement about the capabilities described in the available documentation, not proof that no undocumented or newer feature exists.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
How to loop multiple prerecorded videos through Switchboard
- Prepare the playback source. Use an encoder or streaming application that supports your video files and can play them in sequence and repeat the playlist. Switchboard’s FAQ makes support by the encoder a prerequisite; it does not provide a particular playlist configuration or repeat setting.
- Connect that source to your Switchboard workflow. In the encoder, enter the workflow’s Stream URL and Stream Key so its video feed is sent to Switchboard. Follow the setup instructions for your workflow and encoder. Switchboard’s setup guide
- Check the incoming feed. In Switchboard, verify the confidence monitor shows the expected video and that the workflow status indicates it is receiving.
- Start the YouTube destination. Once the feed is arriving, select the YouTube destination and use Go Live as described in Switchboard’s YouTube instructions. Connecting YouTube to Switchboard Connect
- Confirm the loop at its source. Check that the playlist advances through the intended files and returns to the beginning, and that the encoder continues sending video. Switchboard’s documented workflow forwards the feed; it does not describe creating or verifying the playlist loop.
Encoder settings to check
Switchboard’s initial setup guide gives general recommended encoder settings of CBR, a two-second keyframe rate, and 30 or 60 FPS. Treat these as general Switchboard recommendations, not a guarantee that every encoder, workflow, or YouTube format requires identical settings. Check the requirements for the specific encoder and destination you are using. Switchboard Live Initial Setup
Autostart does not make the playlist loop
Switchboard describes Autostart as starting destinations automatically when streaming software begins broadcasting. That can remove a manual destination-start action, but the feature description does not say it creates a playlist, repeats video files, or restarts a broadcast that has ended. Configure the repeat behavior in the encoder or playback source instead. Switchboard Live feature overview

Troubleshooting the Switchboard workflow
- Switchboard is not receiving video: Confirm the encoder is broadcasting to the Stream URL and Stream Key for the correct workflow, then check the workflow’s receiving status and confidence monitor.
- YouTube does not start: First verify that Switchboard is receiving the encoder feed, then select the YouTube destination and start it using the documented Go Live step.
- The videos play once and stop: The repeat setting belongs in the encoder or playback source. Switchboard’s documentation does not describe a setting to repeat the files.
- Autostart begins the destination but the video ends: Autostart starts destinations when the encoder begins broadcasting; it is not documented as a playlist-repeat or broadcast-restart feature. Check the source’s playlist and repeat behavior.
