Is 24/7 gaming footage against YouTube policy?
A continuous loop is not, by itself, a blanket policy violation. Rights checks before you schedule a replay
Check the game publisher’s rules title by title
There is no universal gameplay license established by the evidence here. Read the current streaming and commercial-use terms for each game and publisher. SEGA’s guidelines illustrate that a publisher may set conditions on gameplay use, monetization, and added commentary; they should not be treated as rules for other publishers. Check SEGA’s published guidelines if you stream a SEGA title, and consult the relevant publisher for other games.
Clear music and other third-party elements
In-game radio, soundtracks, licensed songs, and other protected material may have separate rights from the gameplay itself. Music permitted within a game is not necessarily cleared for a separate YouTube broadcast. Review the game’s audio options and rights terms, and remove or replace material you cannot use.

Review thumbnails and opening footage
YouTube’s gaming ad-suitability rules address graphic violence, including how it appears in thumbnails and early video segments. Check both the thumbnail and the opening portion of each recording against YouTube’s advertiser-friendly content guidelines.
Never inflate engagement artificially

Choose a workflow that fits your footage and operations
When assessing a continuous-stream setup, compare the practical responsibilities rather than relying on the word “automation.” A cloud-managed loop avoids keeping your own machine online; a self-managed PC or VPS gives you more direct control but leaves setup and recovery to you.
