You can organize several YouTube Premieres in one playlist, but the documented workflow schedules each video as its own Premiere. Set up the videos individually in YouTube Studio, then add them to a playlist and arrange their order. The playlist groups the events; it is not itself one scheduled Premiere.
What a playlist Premiere means
A YouTube Premiere is a shared, scheduled viewing of one new video, with a public watch page before it starts and live chat during the event. YouTube documents Premiere scheduling for individual videos and playlist controls as a separate feature. Its help pages do not explicitly say that playlist-wide or bulk Premiere scheduling is impossible, so the steps below follow the documented method rather than treating that as a categorical restriction. Schedule each video as a Premiere
- Upload the first video. In YouTube Studio, upload the video and complete its details.
- Choose when it will premiere. To start after processing, select Public and Set as instant Premiere. To schedule it, choose Schedule, set the date and time, and select Set as Premiere.
- Set the countdown, if you want one. You can customize the countdown theme and length. Finish scheduling the video.
- Repeat for every video. Each scheduled video has its own Premiere watch page and start time. Check that the channel and video meet YouTube’s current requirements; a Community Guidelines strike can delay publication during the penalty period.

Add the scheduled videos to a playlist
- Open YouTube Studio’s playlist controls and create a playlist or select an existing one.
- Add the videos you scheduled as Premieres.
- Arrange the playlist order using its controls. Put the videos in the sequence you want viewers to follow.
- Save the playlist and share its link alongside the individual Premiere watch pages when promoting the schedule.
Playlist order organizes the videos; it does not combine their individual Premiere schedules into one event. The exact playlist controls are covered in YouTube’s playlist guide.

Promote the individual Premiere pages
Each scheduled Premiere creates a public watch page that can be shared before the start. YouTube recommends scheduling at least 24 hours ahead so the thumbnail has time to appear in subscribers’ feeds. Viewers can set reminders; YouTube says reminders are sent about 30 minutes before the event and when it begins. Share the watch pages as well as the playlist, and make clear which video starts first. YouTube Premiere tips
What viewers experience
Before a Premiere starts, viewers can visit its public watch page, set a reminder, comment, and chat. At the scheduled time, the selected countdown runs and viewers watch the video together. They can rewind, but cannot skip ahead of the live point. After the event, the video remains on the channel as a regular upload, and chat replay is available. These are individual video events, even when the videos are grouped in a playlist. YouTube Help

Requirements and feature limits to check
- Video formats: YouTube’s current Premiere help page excludes Shorts, 360/VR180 videos, and output above 1080p. Check the current help page if your upload uses an unusual format or resolution. Premiere requirements
- Channel penalty: A Community Guidelines strike can prevent a Premiere from publishing during its penalty period; reschedule it after the freeze period. Premiere requirements
- Trailers: YouTube lists trailer eligibility as more than 1,000 subscribers and no Community Guidelines strikes. A trailer must be 15 seconds to 3 minutes, comply with content and rights rules, and cannot be a video that has already premiered. Customize your Premiere
- Monetization and chat: For eligible advertising channels, pre-roll ads may run during the Premiere; mid-roll and post-roll ads are unavailable during it. Super Chat, Super Stickers, and eligible members-only chat are also options. Availability depends on eligibility. Customize your Premiere
Troubleshooting the schedule
A video is not showing as a Premiere
Check that you selected Set as Premiere for that particular video. Scheduling a video or adding it to a playlist alone does not set up its Premiere event.
The Premiere will not publish
Check for a Community Guidelines strike and any active penalty period. If the video is affected, reschedule it after the freeze period. Also review the current format limits and YouTube Studio’s status for that upload.

The playlist is in the wrong order
Change the order in the playlist controls. The playlist’s sequence and each video’s Premiere start time are separate, so verify both before sharing the schedule.
