Crashes, No Sound, or Screen Glitches?
Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteWindows Errors? Fix Them Before They Spread
Repair common Windows errors and clear accumulated junk for a smoother, more stable PC - no reinstall needed.Free scan · no reinstallTo loop a prerecorded Malayalam devotional video on YouTube Live, add it in OBS as a Media Source, enable Loop, connect OBS to the YouTube stream key, and choose encoder settings that match your stream’s codec, resolution, frame rate, and reliable upload capacity. Test the full picture and audio in YouTube’s Live Control Room before broadcasting.
Set up a looping video in OBS
- Create a scene: In OBS, add a scene, then go to Sources → Add → Media Source. Select the video file. OBS documents support for formats including MP4, TS, MOV, FLV, MKV, AVI, GIF, and WebM. In the source properties, turn on Loop; OBS will restart playback when the file ends. OBS Media Sources documentation.
- For a playlist: Use a VLC Video source and enable Loop Playlist. VLC must be installed for that source. A single video loop does not require VLC. OBS Media Sources documentation.
- Set the layout: Choose a base canvas resolution and an output (scaled) resolution in OBS video settings. Arrange and resize the video source to fit. A video-only layout is sufficient; artwork or text is optional.
- Check audio: In Settings → Audio, confirm the intended audio source or device is selected. Watch the Audio Mixer meters while the media plays, then verify audio in the outgoing stream. Picture on screen does not by itself confirm that sound is being sent. OBS explains source arrangement and audio checks in its Quick Start Guide.
- Connect to YouTube: In OBS, open Settings → Stream, select YouTube or configure a custom server, and enter the server and stream key for the intended broadcast from YouTube Studio. Treat the stream key like a password: do not publish or share it. YouTube recommends RTMPS for an encrypted connection. OBS streaming overview; YouTube encoder settings.
Looping is configured on the OBS media source, not as a YouTube setting. The stream key connects the encoder to the broadcast; it does not grant rights to the media being played.
Choose YouTube encoder settings
Set the codec, resolution, frame rate, and bitrate as a matched group. Use YouTube’s bitrate table entry for your actual codec and output, and choose a setting your reliable upload connection can sustain. The values below are YouTube-published recommendations, not results of a local performance test. YouTube’s guidance, accessed October 3, 2026, recommends RTMPS, constant bitrate (CBR), a 2-second keyframe interval (do not exceed 4 seconds), and video up to 60 fps. It lists H.264, H.265/HEVC, and AV1 for RTMP/RTMPS ingestion. YouTube: Choose live encoder settings, bitrates, and resolutions.
| Example output | YouTube-recommended H.264 video bitrate |
|---|---|
| 720p at 30 fps | 5 Mbps |
| 1080p at 30 fps | 10 Mbps |
| 1080p at 60 fps | 17 Mbps |
These are selected H.264 examples, not universal targets. For another resolution, frame rate, or codec, use the corresponding row in YouTube’s table rather than reusing one of these figures. YouTube also recommends stereo audio at 128 Kbps and lists 44.1 kHz for stereo audio. YouTube encoder settings.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Match output to the source and connection
- Choose a resolution and frame rate the computer can encode and the internet connection can upload consistently. A higher setting is not automatically better if it causes dropped frames or unstable stream health.
- Use CBR and set the keyframe interval to 2 seconds; keep it at or below YouTube’s 4-second maximum.
- Do not assume the same bitrate applies to H.264, H.265/HEVC, and AV1. Codec and output resolution/frame rate affect the appropriate recommendation.
- For hardware-specific encoder choices or a particular bitrate beyond the examples above, consult YouTube’s complete table and the options actually available in your OBS installation.
Test the full stream before going live
- Start a short test using the same kind of motion and audio as the planned devotional stream.
- Open the YouTube Live Control Room and check the preview and stream health while OBS is sending.
- Let the video reach its end once and confirm it restarts cleanly with audio still present.
- Correct any picture, sound, or stream-health issue before the intended broadcast. OBS strongly recommends a test before the first live stream, and YouTube advises testing and monitoring stream health. OBS Quick Start Guide; YouTube encoder settings.
Check music and video rights
Technical setup does not establish permission to broadcast a devotional recording. Before streaming, make sure you have the rights or authorization needed for the particular music, performance, recording, artwork, and video in your file. A devotional or religious subject does not by itself make a recording free to use. OBS and YouTube’s encoder guidance do not determine the rights status of your specific media.
Common problems and fixes
- The video stops at the end: Open the Media Source properties and enable Loop. For a playlist, check Loop Playlist on the VLC Video source.
- There is picture but no sound: Check the media’s audio in OBS’s Audio Mixer meters and confirm the intended audio device or source under Settings → Audio. Verify sound again in the YouTube preview.
- YouTube does not receive the stream: Recheck the selected service or custom server and the stream key for the intended broadcast. If the key may have been exposed, replace it in YouTube Studio and update OBS.
- Stream health is poor or frames are dropping: Check that the chosen resolution, frame rate, and bitrate fit both the computer’s encoding capability and stable upload capacity. Refer to YouTube’s row for the selected codec and output; reduce the output settings if necessary and retest.
- The stream connects but the picture is not framed correctly: Adjust the source size and position within the OBS canvas, then confirm the result in the YouTube preview.
