To present a prepared Tamil yoga relaxation video as a YouTube livestream, schedule a live event in YouTube Studio, send the video through an encoder such as OBS Studio using the event’s stream key, and check the preview before going live. YouTube supplies the upcoming event page; the encoder supplies the live feed. The video is prerecorded, so describe it as a guided or recorded relaxation session rather than implying real-time instruction.
What you need before scheduling
- A YouTube channel with livestreaming enabled. First-time activation may take up to 24 hours, according to YouTube’s live-streaming guidance.
- A finished video file you have permission to broadcast, including its visuals, voice, music, and sound effects.
- An encoder that can play the video and send its audio and picture to YouTube. OBS Studio is one free, open-source option for recording and livestreaming; it is not the only possible encoder.
- A stable internet connection and time to rehearse the complete playback and audio path before the scheduled session.
A scheduled livestream is not the same as a normal upload or a Premiere. Scheduling creates an upcoming watch page where viewers can set a reminder; an encoder must still send the actual programme as a live feed.
Schedule the YouTube event
- Open YouTube Studio. Go to the Live Control Room and select the Manage tab, then choose the option to schedule a stream.
- Enter the event details. Add a clear title, description, visibility, date, time, and other requested metadata. Say that the programme is a prerecorded Tamil relaxation session, and describe its contents accurately. Choose public, unlisted, or private visibility to suit your plan; an unlisted rehearsal is useful for checking access without publicly listing the event.
- Save the scheduled stream. Confirm that the event appears in the Manage list and that its scheduled time and visibility are correct. The upcoming page is where viewers can find the event and, when available, choose a reminder.
- Get the connection details. In the event’s stream settings, copy the YouTube server URL and stream key. Treat the key like a password: anyone who has it may be able to send a feed to your event. Do not publish it or show it on screen.
Configure the encoder for the prerecorded video
Connect the encoder
- Install and open OBS Studio or another encoder that supports sending a live feed to YouTube.
- In the encoder’s streaming settings, select YouTube or a custom service as appropriate, then enter the server URL and stream key copied from the scheduled event. Exact menu labels can vary by encoder version.
- Load the finished video into a scene or playback source. Set it to play the intended programme, not a desktop or private window that could reveal unrelated material.
- Check that the picture fills the frame as intended and is not stretched, cropped unexpectedly, or surrounded by unintended borders. Confirm that Tamil narration and any music are audible at comfortable, balanced levels.
Choose settings based on the file and connection
Keep the encoder’s output within the capabilities of both the source video and your upload connection. Do not upscale a lower-resolution recording just to select a larger output size. YouTube’s encoder workflow provides stream settings; this assignment’s source material does not establish a single ideal bitrate, resolution, or keyframe interval for every creator, so follow the current values and recommendations shown in YouTube Studio and your encoder rather than relying on a universal preset.
- Use an output resolution and frame rate suited to the original video.
- Set the encoder’s keyframe interval and bitrate to the values requested or recommended by the current YouTube encoder guidance for the chosen stream format.
- Watch the encoder’s connection and dropped-frame indicators during rehearsal. A setting that exceeds your sustained upload capacity can cause buffering or a degraded feed.
- Listen to the full audio chain, including narration, background music, and transitions. A moving meter alone does not confirm that the right source is audible or that levels are comfortable.
Rehearse, start, and monitor the stream
- Test before the public event. Schedule or use an unlisted test event, connect the encoder, and play enough of the programme to check its beginning, transitions, Tamil audio, picture framing, and sound balance.
- Start the encoder ahead of the event. Send the feed before the scheduled start so YouTube has time to receive it. In Live Control Room, inspect the preview and confirm it shows the intended video and audio.
- Verify access and timing. Check the watch page from a viewer perspective, confirm its visibility, and ensure the programme begins when expected. YouTube recommends testing and monitoring audio and video quality.
- Run the programme. Start or continue playback in the encoder and keep monitoring the feed and connection for interruptions or unexpected content.
- End deliberately. When the session is over, stop sending content from the encoder. YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived; do not assume a longer stream will be archived in the same way.
Clear the rights to every part of the programme
Resolve permissions before broadcasting, not after a claim appears. YouTube scans live streams for third-party content. A match may lead to a warning, replacement with a placeholder, interruption, or termination if the matched material continues. Even music you have licensed can interrupt a stream if the rights owner has not allowlisted your channel. YouTube’s livestream terms also place responsibility on the creator to have the necessary rights for live content, including music.

Music options and checks
| Source | What the available terms establish | What to check before streaming |
|---|---|---|
| YouTube Audio Library | YouTube says its library music and sound effects are copyright-safe for YouTube. Some Creative Commons tracks require attribution. | Check the individual track’s attribution requirements and retain its details. YouTube Help says, “Only music and sound effects from the Audio Library are known to YouTube to be copyright-safe.” |
| Other “royalty-free” libraries | YouTube does not assure that tracks from other such libraries are safe. | Read the exact license for live transmission and archived replay, keep permission records, and confirm how claims are handled. Do not treat “royalty-free” as proof that YouTube will not interrupt a stream. |
| Creator Music | YouTube Help describes availability for U.S. YouTube Partner Program creators, with expansion beyond the U.S. pending. The page says paid licenses will phase out starting in August 2026 in favor of no-cost and revenue-sharing tracks; existing licenses remain valid until expiration. | Availability and terms can change. Check the current Creator Music options in Studio and the terms for the specific track before relying on it. |
| Meditation Music Library | The vendor’s published terms allow music as backing for guided meditation and YouTube videos, including monetized videos, subject to conditions such as voiceover for guided recordings and credit in the description. | This is the vendor’s own license description, not a YouTube endorsement. Verify the current license, whether it covers a livestream and replay, and preserve purchase or permission evidence. |
Apply the same discipline to video footage, yoga demonstrations, photographs, fonts, ambient recordings, and samples. If a license is unclear about live use or the replay, obtain clarification or choose material with terms that plainly cover both.
Make the session distinct and accurately presented
A Tamil-language theme alone does not establish that a channel’s videos meet YouTube monetization rules. YouTube’s channel monetization policies say highly repetitive or mass-produced content with little educational value, commentary, narrative, or variation is not eligible. Reviewers may assess a channel as a whole, including its videos, description, titles, and descriptions, and reused-content rules also apply across the channel.
