To stream Bengali Christian worship recordings on YouTube around the clock, send a continuous feed from an encoder to a YouTube Live stream, with the encoder repeating recordings you have permission to rebroadcast. A YouTube playlist URL alone does not create a live stream. Before launching, enable live streaming on the channel, clear rights for every recording and composition, and test the encoder and connection.
What you need for a 24/7 worship stream
- A YouTube channel with live streaming enabled.
- An encoder that can send a live feed to YouTube and repeat your selected recordings.
- Written permission for both the sound recordings and the underlying music, covering live use and the territories where viewers can watch.
- A host device and internet connection that can remain available, plus a plan for monitoring and interruptions.
YouTube documents creating an encoder stream and connecting an encoder; it does not document a built-in control that turns a YouTube playlist into a 24/7 live broadcast. The encoder’s repeat-source function is therefore essential to this workflow, and you should confirm that the encoder you choose supports continuous playback and recovery behavior suitable for your setup.
Prepare the channel and clear the music rights
Confirm live-stream access
In YouTube Studio, open Go Live and check that the channel can create a live stream. YouTube says first-time live-stream activation can take up to 24 hours. Its live-stream tips say the channel must be verified and must not have had live-streaming restrictions in the past 90 days. Check access before announcing a start time.
Get permission for every recording
Permission to use a song is not automatically permission to rebroadcast a particular recording. Confirm rights for the sound recording and the underlying composition, including any required licenses from performers, labels, publishers, or other rights participants. YouTube’s terms place responsibility for necessary rights on the provider and specify that rights must cover worldwide exploitation on Google services.

A recording being publicly viewable on YouTube, credited to an artist, or described as “free” does not establish rebroadcast permission. YouTube’s music guidance identifies public-domain music and music used with permission from the copyright owner as copyright-safe categories; the word “free” in a description does not prevent a Content ID claim.
Account for Content ID
YouTube scans live streams for third-party content. A match can replace the live image with a placeholder, trigger a warning, interrupt the stream, or terminate it. Even when you have a license, an interruption may still occur unless the relevant rights owner has added your channel to its Content ID allowlist. Keep written permissions and any allowlisting confirmation with your stream records, and resolve these arrangements before broadcasting.

Create the YouTube Live stream and connect an encoder
- Open YouTube Studio and select Go Live. Create a new encoder stream or schedule one. Follow YouTube’s encoder setup guidance.
- Copy the stream URL and stream key. Enter both in the corresponding fields in your encoder. Treat the stream key like a password: do not publish it or share it with people who do not need access.
- Choose cleared recordings as the encoder’s source. Configure the media source or playlist to repeat continuously. The YouTube setup page explains how to connect an encoder; it does not endorse a specific playlist application, so verify repeat and reconnect behavior in the encoder you select.
- Set and check the outgoing feed. YouTube recommends constant bitrate encoding, H.264, H.265/HEVC, or AV1 video, AAC or MP3 audio, and a two-second keyframe interval (no more than four seconds). Use RTMPS where supported. These are platform recommendations, not a guarantee of uninterrupted broadcasting.
- Start the encoder and check YouTube’s preview. Confirm the stream appears in Live Control Room, then verify that the audio and video play correctly on the watch page.
Test reliability before going live
Test with representative material
Run a test using audio and video representative of the actual program, including the kinds of transitions and movement in the worship recordings. Check the Live Control Room preview and stream health, then confirm playback and sound on the watch page. YouTube recommends testing before launch and monitoring the stream’s audio and video quality.
Leave upload headroom
YouTube recommends keeping upload bandwidth headroom of 20% above the stream’s bitrate. A connection that barely supports the target bitrate has little margin for other network use or fluctuations. YouTube warns that network disruptions can break a stream, so test from the location and connection you intend to use.

Choose a host you can keep running
A computer running encoder software is one supported host option; YouTube also describes standalone hardware encoders. A dedicated computer is optional, and YouTube’s cited guidance does not establish a universal minimum computer specification. Whichever host you use, account for power, internet stability, playback continuity, and a way to notice failures.
Plan for interruptions and archives
Monitor the encoder and connection during the broadcast, and know how you will restart or reconnect after an interruption. Do not assume that a 24/7 stream will produce one complete replay: YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived, but that statement does not promise a single complete archive for a stream lasting 12 hours or longer. If retaining the full program matters, arrange a separate recording or divide the broadcast into shorter sessions, and verify the resulting replay behavior for your channel.
