Check YouTube eligibility before setting up either route
YouTube requires a channel to be verified and to have had no livestreaming restrictions in the prior 90 days to livestream. Live content must also follow YouTube’s Community Guidelines and Terms of Service. Check channel eligibility and any Studio notices before scheduling a continuous broadcast. Set the audience accurately for children’s cartoons
If the stream is made for kids, YouTube disables live chat and comments. Personalized ads are disabled on live streams and Premieres, though contextual ads may appear. Confirm rights to everything in the broadcast
Calling a cartoon “original” does not by itself establish that you control every relevant right. Make sure you own or have permission to use the animation, characters, music, voice performances, and any other included material. A streaming tool does not grant broadcast rights, establish channel eligibility, or guarantee monetization.
Do not assume API-created streams monetize automatically
Gyre’s September 2026 update says monetization for API-created streams depends on the creator’s YouTube Studio setting for monetization on third-party-created streams. - Choose Gyre if you prefer a managed cloud workflow and its current plan limits, workflow, and price suit your channel.
