The Ghost of Yōtei Complete Edition bundles the PS5 base game with the Echoes of Sekigahara story expansion, Most Wanted single-player mode, Legends co-op, and the listed Digital Deluxe items. On the US PlayStation Store, it was listed at $69.99 on October 3, 2026; the upgrade for existing owners was $14.99. Those are regional prices that can change. If you already own the game, compare the upgrade against the two new paid additions you want; if you are buying for the first time, the Complete Edition is the straightforward digital bundle.
What does the Complete Edition include?
The official US and UK listings name the following items in the Complete Edition:
- Ghost of Yōtei, the main game
- Ghost of Yōtei Legends, the cooperative multiplayer mode
- Echoes of Sekigahara, a story expansion
- Most Wanted, a single-player combat-survival mode
- In-game Mask
- Charm of Hokkyokusei
- The Snake Armor
- Digital Deluxe Armor Dye
- Digital Deluxe Horse & Saddle
- Sword Kit
- Traveler’s Maps (Early Unlock)
- Charm of Amaterasu
Sony says the expansion and mode arrive through patch v2.0 or later. Downloading the patch requires an internet connection and a PlayStation account. See the US PlayStation Store listing and Sucker Punch’s Complete Edition announcement for the official package details.
What do Echoes of Sekigahara and Most Wanted add?
Echoes of Sekigahara: a new story
Echoes of Sekigahara is a narrative expansion that moves between the present and flashbacks to Atsu’s time on the mainland. It introduces Nagato, a previously unseen valley associated with the Snake and Vipers, and explores Atsu’s past during the Battle of Sekigahara. Andrew Goldfarb, Senior Communications Manager at Sucker Punch, described it as “our new narrative expansion” in the August 12, 2026 announcement.

Is the upgrade worth it if you already own the game?
If you own the base game, the US Store listed the Complete Edition Upgrade at $14.99 on October 3, 2026. Its stated purpose is to add the expansion and Most Wanted mode; it is the relevant choice if you want those paid additions without buying the game again. If you do not want either, the upgrade is not necessary to receive the general v2.0 additions described below. The price is subject to regional variation and change.
What did the v2.0 patch add for existing owners?
Sony said the v2.0 patch also brought Beauty of Yōtei, Watanabe Mode tracks, an option to keep one armor set’s appearance while using another set’s stats, and a high-contrast accessibility option to owners without requiring the Complete Edition Upgrade. These are general patch additions, not paid-exclusive Complete Edition content. Sony listed the patch for October 1, 2026 globally, with October 2 in some territories, including Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. Details are in the PlayStation.Blog announcement.

Can you get the Complete Edition on disc?
PlayStation UK confirms a Standard Edition Blu-ray, but the official pages cited here do not confirm a physical Complete Edition disc. Do not assume a marketplace listing for a disc includes the Complete Edition’s expansion or mode. Check the exact edition, region, and included content with the seller before purchasing. The confirmed physical option is documented on the PlayStation UK page.
Is the Sakai Armor bonus still available?
No. The Sakai Armor early-unlock promotion ended September 30, 2026, so it should not be treated as an active bonus. The cutoff is stated in Sony’s Complete Edition announcement and the PlayStation UK product page.
