To stream Marathi Bhavgeet continuously on YouTube with FFmpeg, prepare a rights-cleared program, create a YouTube Live broadcast, and run FFmpeg with -stream_loop -1 so it repeats the media file. Use YouTube’s recommended encoder settings, test the exact setup, and plan for failures: looping a file does not keep a stream alive if the computer, process, or network stops.
Before you stream: prepare the program and check rights
Choose only music and visuals that you own or are authorized to broadcast. Rights in a musical composition and rights in a particular sound recording are distinct; permission for one does not necessarily cover the other. No particular Bhavgeet, recording, owner, or license is established here, so do not assume a recording is free to rebroadcast. Keep relevant license evidence and platform-specific permissions available, and leave any unverified recording out.
Prepare a stable media file for the program. The command below assumes a single file; if you need multiple tracks, assemble and check them as a program before relying on it for continuous playback.
Set up the YouTube Live broadcast
- In YouTube Studio, create or schedule a live broadcast and choose the encoder workflow. Follow YouTube’s current setup instructions: Create a YouTube live stream with an encoder.
- Copy the broadcast’s server URL and stream key into your encoder configuration. The stream key is a publishing credential: keep it private, do not show it in screenshots or public scripts, and replace it if exposed.
- Enable live streaming well ahead of the planned start. YouTube says first-time live activation may take up to 24 hours, so verify account access before launch.
Use the RTMPS endpoint and application path provided for your broadcast. YouTube describes RTMPS as RTMP over an SSL connection and specifies a valid RTMPS ingestion endpoint, application path, and port 443 in its RTMPS ingestion guide.

- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Choose FFmpeg settings for YouTube
YouTube’s live encoder guidance recommends H.264 video, constant bitrate (CBR), a two-second keyframe interval (not more than four seconds), and AAC or MP3 audio. For stereo audio, it lists 44.1 kHz and 128 kbps as recommended advanced settings. Select resolution, frame rate, and video bitrate for the actual program and available upload capacity rather than treating one bitrate as universal. See YouTube’s encoder settings, bitrates, and resolutions for current guidance.
Here is an illustrative starting pattern for a single file. It is not a tested command or a universal preset; replace every placeholder and validate it with your installed FFmpeg build and current YouTube Studio settings.

ffmpeg -re -stream_loop -1 -i PROGRAM.mp4
-c:v libx264 -preset veryfast -b:v VIDEO_BITRATE
-maxrate VIDEO_BITRATE -bufsize VIDEO_BUFFER
-pix_fmt yuv420p -g KEYFRAME_INTERVAL_FRAMES
-c:a aac -b:a 128k -ar 44100
-f flv 'rtmps://YOUTUBE_INGEST_ENDPOINT/APP/STREAM_KEY'
-stream_loop -1tells FFmpeg to repeat the input indefinitely.-rereads it at its native frame rate, which FFmpeg documents as useful for simulating a live input from a file.-gsets the GOP/keyframe interval in frames. For a two-second interval, derive the value from the output frame rate: for example, a 30 fps output corresponds to 60 frames. Match the frame rate you actually send.- Replace
VIDEO_BITRATEandVIDEO_BUFFERwith appropriate values for the chosen resolution, frame rate, and upload bandwidth. This command leaves them as placeholders because no single bitrate fits every setup. - Replace the endpoint, application path, and key with the exact values from YouTube Studio. Never publish a real key.
FFmpeg options generally apply to the next input or output, so keep input options such as -re and -stream_loop before -i, and output encoding options before the output destination. Consult the FFmpeg documentation for the installed version’s option behavior.
Test the stream before making it public
- Run an unlisted or otherwise controlled test using the same media, encoder settings, computer, and network route you plan to use continuously.
- Check that audio is present and at a sensible level, the image does not freeze, and YouTube reports a healthy incoming stream.
- Use representative audio and movement where possible, and monitor stream health during operation. YouTube explicitly advises testing before a live stream.
A successful FFmpeg connection shows that this process can send the configured output; it does not establish that the host, storage, operating system, network, YouTube broadcast, or rights will remain available indefinitely. Continuous operation needs separate process supervision, logs, network monitoring, and a restart plan. The official guidance cited here does not prescribe a production failover design.

Keep a 24/7 broadcast running—and decide how to handle replays
-stream_loop -1 handles repeated playback while FFmpeg is running. It does not restart FFmpeg after a crash or restore a dropped network connection. If you run locally, the computer and network must stay available; plan how you will detect and recover from interruptions rather than equating an infinite input loop with uninterrupted service.
YouTube’s encoder instructions say streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. A 24/7 broadcast exceeds that stated archive window, so do not count on one complete replay for a full day or longer. Decide whether your priority is continuous live listening, replay availability, or both; plan broadcast segments or a separate local recording accordingly. Check current behavior in YouTube Studio before relying on archives for streams over 12 hours. YouTube’s encoder setup guidance covers the stated archive behavior. Its API documentation distinguishes the live stream feed from the broadcast resource, but does not provide a tested implementation for managing this setup: Understanding broadcasts and streams.

Troubleshooting common FFmpeg and YouTube Live problems
- YouTube is not receiving video: Check that the broadcast is ready in Studio and that the RTMPS endpoint, application path, and stream key are copied correctly. Confirm that your endpoint uses the required RTMPS connection details, including port 443.
- The stream key appears in a screenshot or public script: Treat it as exposed. Replace it using the available YouTube Studio controls; the exact rotation procedure is not covered by the sources cited here.
- YouTube reports poor stream health or playback stutters: Test at the selected resolution and frame rate, then reduce output demands if the available upload bandwidth cannot sustain them. Check YouTube’s current bitrate guidance and monitor stream health rather than assuming the illustrative command’s placeholders are suitable.
- There is no audio or audio sounds wrong: Confirm the input actually contains the intended audio stream and that the output is configured for a supported codec. For stereo, YouTube lists AAC or MP3 and recommends 44.1 kHz with 128 kbps in its advanced settings.
- The broadcast stops when the file ends: Confirm the input uses
-stream_loop -1before-i. That option repeats the file but cannot recover a stopped FFmpeg process or failed host. - The command rejects an option or fails to connect: Check option placement, installed FFmpeg support, the exact Studio-provided RTMPS destination, and current YouTube settings. FFmpeg’s command-line documentation explains that options apply to the next input or output.
- The first scheduled launch cannot go live: If the channel has not streamed live before, allow for YouTube’s stated activation period of up to 24 hours and test eligibility before the event.
- A long session has no complete replay: YouTube’s stated automatic archive guidance applies to streams under 12 hours. Use planned segments or separate recording if preserving a longer program matters.
Or let it run in the cloud
If you do not want a home computer and connection to carry a continuous broadcast, StreamNeo is a cloud service for keeping a YouTube channel live from uploaded videos. It plays uploaded videos, not a live camera feed.
- One flat price per slot for any uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps, with no re-encoding or quality tiers.
- Automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream.
- Each slot includes one always-on stream, 10 GB storage per slot pooled across active slots, 24/7 looping and playlists, and StreamNeo team support.
