You can reroll for a better starting summon, but there is no safe reset sequence that works across every anime gacha game. Before deleting data, reinstalling, unlinking an account, or changing devices, check the current official instructions for your exact game, platform, server, and region. Once you choose the account you want to keep, link it through the game’s official method and verify that its progress loads before removing local data.
What rerolling can put at risk
Rerolling means repeating a game’s early account or summon process to try for a different starting result. The danger is that a fresh start and the account you want to preserve may depend on the same device data, login identity, or transfer system. A guest profile may not be linked to a durable account, while a linked profile may follow game-specific rules for switching, resetting, or transferring.
That is why signing out, clearing app data, reinstalling, or unlinking should not be treated as universal ways to get another roll. Whether an action is supported or reversible depends on the title and sometimes the platform, server, or region.
Use a safe workflow before you reroll
- Find the instructions for the exact game. Check the publisher’s current support site or the game’s account help for reset, guest-account, linking, and transfer rules. Confirm that the instructions apply to your platform and region.
- Check which account is active. Note the account ID or UID if the game recommends it, and determine whether the profile is a guest or already linked. Do not assume that signing out or removing local data will create a safe new account.
- Use only an officially supported reset route. Follow the game’s own directions. If they do not clearly explain what happens to your current profile, stop before taking a destructive step and ask the publisher’s support team.
- Protect the result you intend to keep. Use the game’s official linking or account-protection method. Check that the intended credentials or platform identity are attached, then relaunch or sign in through a supported method and confirm that the right progress appears.
- Move devices or remove local data only after verification. A successful link should be confirmed by loading the intended account, not assumed from seeing a confirmation screen. Follow the title’s transfer guidance if you are changing devices.

These examples show why you should not transfer one game’s reroll or account procedure to another. Follow the linked official guidance for the current rules that apply to your account.

If you cannot confirm what a reset will do
- Do not delete, reinstall, clear app data, unlink, or switch accounts as a test.
- Keep the current profile accessible and record its identifier where the game recommends doing so.
- Ask the game’s official support team which reset or reroll route applies to your platform, server, and region.
- After linking or transferring, verify that the intended progress loads before giving up access to the original device or account.
