Developed by ALTER-BOY and published by ALTER-BOY and RLC, OZARK is a Windows PC action horror game built around side-scrolling combat and exploration. Its story begins after a crash landing in a remote mountain range in Northern Canada. The protagonist searches a seemingly abandoned facility for a missing partner’s signal, then faces horrors and evidence of macabre human experimentation. Steam’s store listing describes it as a dark, story-driven game designed for a short, intense playthrough.
Can you play OZARK co-op?
Yes. Steam lists single-player and shared/split-screen co-op. For online play, the official method is Steam Remote Play Together: the Steam Community launch announcement says one player needs to own the game to use this arrangement. That is distinct from native online matchmaking; the listing does not promise matchmaking or dedicated online servers.
How long is OZARK?
The developer estimates 3–6 hours for a playthrough. Treat that as an advertised estimate, not a measured completion time; pace and play style may affect an individual run. The launch announcement characterizes the game as a short, complete experience intended for a sitting or two.

Steam release, price and reviews
OZARK released on Steam on October 1, 2026. At the time the Steam listing was checked on October 4, it showed a paid game at $9.98, reduced from $13.49 in an introductory offer scheduled to end October 8, 2026. Prices and promotions can change, and those figures may not match other regional storefronts; check the live listing for your region.
Steam showed six user reviews at that time and said there were not enough reviews to generate a score. That small, time-sensitive sample is not enough to establish a broad player consensus.

Languages and content warning
The Steam listing marks English as available for the interface, full audio and subtitles. Its mature-content notice warns of frequent violence or gore and general mature content, so the game may not suit players looking to avoid graphic horror.
