Which Into the Radius 2 settings are confirmed?
The PS5 listing confirms that the game requires PlayStation VR2 and PS VR2 Sense controllers and supports both seated and standing play. It also lists headset vibration, controller vibration, and trigger effects as optional. The listing warns that VR games may cause motion sickness: PlayStation Store listing.
The listing does not identify the game’s locomotion method, turn style, vignette or blinders, movement speed, or comfort-mode settings. No specific values or menu path for those controls can be recommended from the confirmed information. Check the current game build’s settings menu rather than relying on controls described for another VR game.
How to start playing more comfortably
Begin seated and set up enough space
Because the game supports seated play and PlayStation recommends seated play as a starting point for getting used to PS VR2, begin there if it feels comfortable for you. PlayStation says a seated PS VR2 play area needs at least 1 m × 1 m, with enough clearance to move the controllers freely: PS VR2 play area guidance.

Keep early sessions short
PlayStation advises starting with short periods, ensuring the room is ventilated, increasing play time gradually, and setting a timer to remind you to take breaks: PS VR2 getting-started guidance.
The PS VR2 instruction manual recommends breaks long enough for discomfort to subside. It gives 15-minute breaks for every hour as a general recommendation, while noting that break needs vary from person to person: PS VR2 instruction manual.

Stop if symptoms appear
The manual warns that some people may experience motion sickness, nausea, disorientation, blurred vision, or other discomfort. Its instruction is direct: “If experienced, stop using immediately, and remove the VR headset.” Do not try to push through symptoms to finish a session.
Should you turn off vibration or trigger effects?
The Store lists headset vibration, controller vibration, and trigger effects as optional, so you can try changing them individually and see whether you prefer the experience with them on or off. The official sources do not establish that disabling any of these features reduces motion sickness, so regard this as a personal-comfort experiment rather than a treatment or guaranteed fix.

What about the game’s performance claims?
In an August 24, 2026 PlayStation Blog announcement, CM Immersive Game Director Aleksei Shulga described the PS VR2 version as using native 90 FPS performance and eye-tracked foveated rendering, saying these help preserve clarity and smoothness. That is the developer’s stated implementation, not an independent performance test or evidence that an individual player will avoid motion sickness: PlayStation Blog announcement.
What to check if the current menu offers more comfort controls
If you find movement or comfort options in the live game menu, their labels and effects should be checked in that build before relying on a recommendation. Common categories to look for include teleport versus continuous movement, snap versus smooth turning, vignette or blinders, and movement or turn speed. The confirmed sources do not establish that Into the Radius 2 supports any of these options, so they are checks to make—not verified menu items or recommended values.

Release-date listings conflict
The PlayStation Store lists October 8, 2026, while the PlayStation Blog announcement dated August 24, 2026 says September 24, 2026. These official pages give different dates, and the available information does not establish which reflects a later change or a listing error. Consult the live listing for current availability.
