The PlayStation Store listing supports sitting and standing play. PlayStation’s platform guidance calls for at least 1 m by 1 m of clear space for either style, plus room to move both controllers safely.
What play styles does Into the Radius 2 support?
The current PlayStation Store listing identifies sitting and standing as supported play styles and lists PS VR2 and PS VR2 Sense controllers as required. It does not list roomscale for this game.
Choose the position you can maintain comfortably while moving the controllers without hitting furniture or other people. PlayStation’s PS VR2 play-area guidance specifies a minimum clear area of 1 m by 1 m for sitting or standing. That is a platform minimum, not a guarantee that every room or controller movement will fit safely; allow more room if your reach requires it.
How to set or reset the PS VR2 play area
- Clear the area of furniture, loose cables, pets, and objects that could be struck or tripped over.
- On the PS5 home screen, open Settings > Accessories > PlayStation VR2 > Set Play Area.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to scan and set the boundary. Repeat the process if you move the play location or rearrange the room.
- Before starting the game, check that the boundary leaves enough space for your chosen seated or standing position and full controller movement.
PlayStation says the boundary becomes visible as you approach it; leaving the area pauses the game and reveals your surroundings. Treat that as a warning and recovery feature, not as a substitute for clearing hazards before play. The official PS VR2 setup instructions also direct players to clear obstacles and follow the console’s setup prompts.

Fit the headset and choose optional effects
Follow the headset’s on-screen fitting prompts. PlayStation recommends adjusting the headband and scope and positioning your eyes centrally in the lenses. These are headset-fit adjustments; they are not settings unique to Into the Radius 2.
The game’s Store listing marks headset vibration, controller vibration, and controller trigger effects as optional. Select the effects you prefer; the listing does not prescribe a comfort-focused combination.

Which comfort settings are confirmed for the game?
The official materials cited here establish the supported sitting and standing styles, the required PS VR2 hardware, and the optional vibration and trigger effects. They do not document Into the Radius 2’s in-game locomotion, turning, vignette, or other comfort-menu controls. Do not assume a specific option is available based on general PS VR2 features; check the current in-game menus for controls actually present in your installed version.
PlayStation describes roomscale as requiring 2 m by 2 m or more, but that is general platform guidance. Because the game’s listing does not identify roomscale as a supported style, that platform dimension should not be taken as confirmation that Into the Radius 2 supports roomscale.

Release-date information
The US PlayStation Store listing checked on October 4, 2026 showed an October 8, 2026 release date. An August 24, 2026 PlayStation.Blog announcement instead gave September 24, 2026. Because those official dates conflict, use the live Store listing for current availability rather than treating the older announcement as current.
