First identify which Roblox email is missing: the initial account-verification message, an email 2-Step Verification (2SV) code, a one-time login code, or a password-recovery message. Each has different steps. For the initial verification email, check Spam or Junk, add [email protected] to your contacts, then try sending the message again.
Start by identifying the missing email
These messages serve different purposes, so use the steps for the one you requested:
- Account verification: You can access your account and need to verify its email address.
- Email 2SV code: Roblox is asking for a code during sign-in because email is your configured 2-Step Verification method.
- One-time login code: You chose Roblox’s one-time-code sign-in option, which is available only to some users.
- Password recovery: You requested a password reset because you cannot sign in.
If the account-verification email is missing
Roblox’s email verification instructions say the message should arrive within a few minutes. If it does not, check Spam or Junk. If the message is still missing, add [email protected] to your email contacts or address book, then try the verification step again.
- Sign in to Roblox.
- Open Settings: select the gear icon on the website, or open More (the three-dot menu) in the mobile app and go to settings.
- Choose Account Info, then select the control to add or verify your email.
- Check your inbox and Spam or Junk for the message, and follow its instructions.
Adding an email or phone number can help with account recovery if you forget your password, but it does not guarantee delivery or bypass Roblox’s account-ownership checks.

If an email 2-Step Verification code is missing
Use these steps while you are on the 2SV sign-in screen. Roblox’s 2SV troubleshooting guide recommends checking the account address and mail filters before requesting another code.
- Make sure you are checking the exact email address attached to the Roblox account. This is easy to miss if you use more than one inbox.
- Check Spam, Junk, Promotions, Social, and any other filtered folders. If the message was filtered, mark it Not Spam.
- Add
[email protected]to your email contacts. - On the 2SV screen, select Resend Code. If needed, select Start Over and retry the sign-in flow.
Email 2SV codes expire after 15 minutes. If you entered a code incorrectly for that account, it will no longer work; request a new one. If the code still does not arrive after these steps, Roblox Support says to contact Customer Support.

If a one-time login code is missing
Roblox’s one-time-code instructions apply only to users who have access to that sign-in option. Check Spam or Junk, select Resend, and confirm that you entered the email exactly as it appears on the account. The address must also be verified.
If another code does not arrive, try signing in with your password instead. Roblox notes that you may need to wait before one-time codes work again for that email.
Never share a one-time code with anyone. Roblox says it will never contact you to ask for one. Ignore an unsolicited code; if unwanted one-time-code emails keep arriving, Roblox’s safety guidance recommends changing the account email and setting up authenticator-app 2SV.
If you need a password-recovery email
A password-reset message is different from a verification or login-code email. If you cannot access the account’s email address but have a phone number attached, Roblox’s password-recovery instructions provide a phone recovery option.

If neither an email address nor a phone number was added to the account, Roblox says its email/phone self-service reset cannot be used. Contact Customer Support and provide details of the login issue. Roblox requires verification that you own the account before resetting it or changing account information.

Roblox says a parent can verify the parent’s address as a parental recovery email in Settings > Account Info. The recovery address may be different from the email the parent uses for a linked account with parent privileges. See Roblox’s email and phone verification guidance for this option.
When to contact Roblox Support
Contact Customer Support if the official resend and mail-folder steps for your message type do not work, or if you have no usable recovery method. For a missing email 2SV code, Roblox specifically directs users to Support after the listed troubleshooting steps. Include the sign-in problem and the recovery methods you can access; do not send anyone a login or verification code.
