Use a numbered location map to identify the next encounter, then follow the focused light of Wander’s sword toward it. For optional upgrades, shoot fruit from trees to increase maximum health and collect white-tailed lizards to increase maximum stamina. After finishing the game, two Time Attack rewards can help locate those collectibles.
How to find the next colossus
Keep a numbered map of the colossi locations beside you. The PS4 walkthrough by Shotgunnova on GameFAQs numbers the encounters by appearance and provides a section for each one. When outdoors, raise and focus Wander’s sword: its light points toward the currently targeted colossus. Ride Agro in that direction, then use the relevant numbered walkthrough section for the route and approach through the terrain.

The sword is a directional cue, not a substitute for the encounter-specific route. A broad bearing may get you moving, but the numbered section helps with the final approach. The guide is for PS4; its map and control directions should not be assumed to match other releases.
Find fruit to increase maximum health
Fruit grows on trees throughout the Forbidden Land. Shoot fruit down with arrows, then collect it to raise Wander’s maximum health. Some trees are easy to overlook because they sit at dead ends, on cliffs, or at overlooks rather than beside an obvious path.

Scan trees as you travel between colossi. If you want a more systematic search, the post-game Fruit Tree Map can mark trees; see the PS4 walkthrough’s Time Attack rewards for its difficulty-specific reward table.
Find white-tailed lizards to increase maximum stamina
White-tailed lizards appear around the world, including near save shrines. Knock one down with a sword, an arrow, or Agro, then collect it. The lizard tail is the stamina-upgrade collectible: gathering tails increases Wander’s maximum stamina, useful for climbing and hanging on to a colossus.
Check around shrines when saving, but do not treat them as the only locations. For a later search, the Lizard Detection Stone is a post-game reward that displays nearby lizards.
Use the post-game locator rewards
Time Attack becomes available after completing the game. To start a challenge, pray at the statue of the colossus you want to fight in the Shrine of Worship. Each trial has a time limit; completing it within the objective earns a reward that appears at the back pool of the Shrine. Normal and Hard have separate reward sets, so check the PS4 walkthrough’s table for the threshold that applies to your difficulty.

These tools support a subsequent exploration run; rewards cannot be used during Time Attack itself. The reward table is edition- and difficulty-specific, so use the PS4 table rather than carrying its thresholds over to a PS2 or PS3 version.

The game also has earlier releases, but this guide does not establish that the same controls, maps, item details, or unlock conditions apply to them. The available guides support the core mechanics and a numbered colossus route, but they do not establish a dependable exhaustive count or transferable coordinate list for every fruit and lizard across editions. For a literal 100% collectible sweep, use a map or video guide specifically matched to your release and check that it covers both fruit and white-tailed lizards.
