Stellar Blade PC system requirements
Sony published four PC configurations on May 15, 2025. The performance figures are targets tied to the listed settings, not independent benchmark results. The requirements also appear on the official PlayStation PC page; Steam lists the Minimum and Recommended configurations as well.

The graphics card is the main listed change between the Recommended, High, and Very High tiers: Sony gives the same processor examples and RAM amount for all three, but raises the GPU target as resolution and preset increase. To aim for a particular tier, compare every listed component and storage condition—not just the GPU or RAM.
How to check your PC’s specs in Windows
1. Check Windows, processor, and RAM
- Right-click Start and open Settings > System > About.
- Under Device specifications, note the processor model and installed RAM, and check whether Windows is 64-bit.
- Under Windows specifications, note the Windows edition and version. The game lists Windows 10 64-bit.

2. Check free space and drive type
- Open Settings > System > Storage and check the drive you plan to install the game on.
- If you have multiple drives, use Advanced storage settings > Storage used on other drives to inspect them.
- Compare the available space on the chosen drive with the 75 GB requirement, and determine whether that drive is an SSD or HDD.
Microsoft’s device information guide covers these Windows storage settings. An HDD is supported for the Minimum tier, with an SSD recommended; Sony lists an SSD for Recommended and higher tiers. If considering an internal SSD upgrade, check that it is compatible with your PC and that it will provide enough free space.
3. Identify your graphics card
Find the exact GPU model using your PC or graphics-card maker’s system information utility, or Device Manager. Then compare its full model name with the card examples in the table. A desktop and laptop GPU with similar names are not necessarily equivalent: the published requirements do not specify laptop power limits or establish performance for every in-between model.

4. Compare your processor model
Use the CPU model shown on the About page. If you need more processor details, press Ctrl+Shift+Esc to open Task Manager, select Performance, then CPU. Microsoft says this view shows the processor’s cores and logical processors. The game’s requirements name CPU models rather than setting a core-count threshold, so compare the model rather than treating core count as a substitute.

How to decide whether your PC meets a target
- For the Minimum target: compare your CPU and GPU with the Minimum examples, confirm 16 GB RAM and Windows 10 64-bit, and check for 75 GB available on the install drive. This tier supports an HDD, though an SSD is recommended.
- For the Recommended target: compare against the Recommended CPU and GPU, confirm 16 GB RAM and 75 GB on an SSD, and use the listed 1440p Medium target as the reference.
- For High or Very High: compare against that tier’s specific GPU and the shared CPU, RAM, and SSD requirements. The targets are 1440p High and 4K Very High, respectively.
If a component falls between the named examples, or the PC mixes parts from different tiers, the published specifications do not establish a guaranteed frame rate for that combination. Treat the closest tier as a reference, not a pass/fail verdict. Likewise, meeting one tier does not establish performance at a higher resolution or preset.
