Yes: NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang signed a Buzz Lightyear-themed MSI GeForce RTX 5070 Gaming Trio at MSI’s booth during Computex 2025. It was a special showcase card—not an indication that standard retail RTX 5070 Gaming Trio cards come with Buzz Lightyear artwork or Huang’s autograph.
What Jensen Huang signed at Computex
HotHardware reported on May 27, 2025, that Huang visited MSI’s Computex booth and signed the Toy Story-themed graphics card. The outlet reproduced a post from MSI Gaming Singapore, which said Huang “signed our best products,” naming a Crosshair 18 HX AI gaming laptop with an RTX 50 Series laptop GPU and an “RTX 5070 Gaming Trio Limited Edition.” The wording identifies the signed items as booth-showcase products; it does not suggest the signature was included with ordinary retail cards. HotHardware’s report.
What makes this RTX 5070 a Toy Story edition?
The themed card uses a mostly white-and-green Buzz Lightyear design, with Buzz imagery on its backplate and the phrase “TO INFINITY AND BEYOND.” GamersNexus identifies it as a rebadge of MSI’s standard GeForce RTX 5070 Gaming Trio OC: the Toy Story treatment changes the look, not the identity of the underlying GPU model. GamersNexus’ review.
The GPU was part of a wider MSI and Disney/Pixar Toy Story 30th-anniversary PC collaboration. Later 2025 coverage showed matching versions of MSI’s PANO 110R case, Z890 Gaming Plus motherboard, 850W MAG A850GL power supply, and MAG CORELIQUID cooler alongside the RTX 5070. Could you buy the Buzz Lightyear card on its own?
Not according to GamersNexus’ review: it reported that the Toy Story PC was a 500-unit run, exclusive to Taiwan, and that the themed components were not being sold separately at the time. Those are details from the review period, not a current inventory check. The reviewer’s system was number 91 of 500 and cost about US$2,700 in Taiwan; that was the reviewer’s purchase cost, not an official MSRP or a verified present-day price. Current stock and resale availability are not established here.
What is the regular MSI RTX 5070 counterpart?
The closest standard product is the MSI GeForce RTX 5070 Gaming Trio OC, which GamersNexus names as the DIY equivalent of the themed card. It is the relevant model for someone seeking the underlying MSI GPU, but it does not have the Buzz Lightyear shroud or Huang’s signature. MSI’s March 5, 2025 RTX 5070 announcement lists its VANGUARD, GAMING TRIO, INSPIRE, and VENTUS families; it does not identify the Toy Story edition as part of that standard lineup. How the limited PC compared with a DIY build
For context, GamersNexus compared its roughly US$2,726 converted prebuilt cost with a US$1,757 DIY total and described the premium as close to US$1,000. Those are the reviewer’s figures for that Taiwan purchase and comparison, not current component pricing. The comparison helps explain the trade-off: the collaboration offered a coordinated, limited-run Toy Story design, while a DIY build could use the standard GPU and ordinary parts without the themed collectible exterior.
