MSI’s later specifications list additional combinations, so buyers should verify the exact SKU offered in their market rather than assume every feature or component applies to every system.
Which MPG Infinite Z3 X3D configurations did MSI announce?
MSI’s September 2025 launch announcement named three configurations:
- AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090
- AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080
- AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti
MSI said availability would begin in September 2025 through authorized MSI retailers and e-commerce partners, while directing buyers to regional information for exact specifications, prices, and availability. That was the launch plan, not confirmation of current stock or pricing. MSI’s September 12, 2025 announcement
MSI’s current product specifications show a broader, SKU-dependent set of options: Ryzen 7 7800X3D or 9800X3D processors and MSI GeForce RTX 5070, RTX 5070 Ti, RTX 5080, or RTX 5090 graphics cards. This broader list is not the same as the three configurations in the original launch announcement. MSI MPG Infinite Z3 X3D specifications

What varies by SKU, and what does MSI list for the family?
MSI’s specifications page describes family-level options, not a guarantee that every listed component appears in every unit. The precise market SKU determines its processor, graphics card, power supply, wireless connectivity, and other installed components.

|---|---|
| Processor | AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D or Ryzen 7 9800X3D |

What MSI claims about gaming performance
MSI promotes an X3D Gaming Mode uplift of 2%–20% on its product page. This is a manufacturer claim, not an independent benchmark; MSI’s page does not state a publication year for that figure. Its game-specific frame-rate claims use a Ryzen 7 9800X3D and RTX 5090 at 1080p with low settings, and enable DLSS or Frame Generation in supported titles. Those results should not be generalized to other hardware combinations, games, or settings. MSI product overview MSI performance claims and test setup
In the 2025 announcement, MSI said the system could average 360 FPS in Cyberpunk 2077 at 3840 × 2160 with RTX Medium settings, DLSS Performance, and Frame Generation 4x enabled. That is MSI’s result under those conditions; it is not a measure of native rendering at 4K without upscaling or generated frames. MSI’s launch announcement

MSI also describes “500+ FPS” as performance potential and recommends a 500Hz monitor for displaying high frame rates. This is marketing guidance, not a promise that every configuration will reach those frame rates in every game, or that a monitor is included. MSI product overview
How accessible are upgrades?
MSI highlights EZ M.2 CLIP and EZ PCIe CLIP II mechanisms, plus tool-free thumb-screw access to the chassis. These features are intended to make opening the case and handling certain components more convenient. They do not establish that every part can be upgraded without compatibility limits; check the exact system configuration and component requirements before planning an upgrade. MSI launch announcement

What should buyers verify before comparing or purchasing?
MSI’s launch materials directed buyers to regional information for exact pricing and availability. A regional MSI Poland listing exists for a named SKU, but it does not establish stock or price in other markets. No current US price or inventory is established here. MSI’s performance figures are vendor-reported. No independent third-party benchmark, noise or thermal result, or reliability assessment is established in the available sources. To compare the Infinite Z3 X3D with another gaming desktop, match the exact processor and GPU, local price, game and test settings, memory and storage, and then consider measured cooling and noise, case dimensions, upgrade options, warranty, and support.
