To reach it, progress to Act III, summon Esquie on the world map, and use his Underwater ability at the entrance east of Lumière. It is not a separate paid expansion.
How to reach Verso’s Drafts
- Reach Act III. The area’s entrance is available from the world map at this stage of the story.
- Call Esquie on the world map. You need his Underwater ability to reach the entrance.
- Travel east of Lumière and dive underwater. The entrance to Verso’s Drafts is located in the water east of the city. These access directions are reported by Neoseeker’s Verso’s Drafts guide.
What to expect inside
The update describes Verso’s Drafts as a whimsical level inspired by childhood, with new environments and battles. The area is organized around a relatively open central space and themed sub-areas. Neoseeker’s guide names Gestral Baths, Candy Land, Treehouse Forest, Licornapieds Station, and Reverie Path, with a route that leads toward the Root of All Evil.

Expect new enemy encounters as you explore; the guide also notes rewards including Pictos and a weapon. The zones and rewards above are guide-reported rather than the result of gameplay testing, so use a current detailed walkthrough if you need exact collectible locations or a complete route.
What the Thank You Update adds
Verso’s Drafts is one part of the free update for game owners, not a separately sold add-on. The update announcement also lists other additions across the game, including weapons, Luminas, costumes, hairstyles, photo mode, and late-game Endless Tower challenges. Its announced counts are 13 weapons, 16 additional Luminas, and 33 photo-mode filters; these are update-wide figures, not counts of items unique to Verso’s Drafts. Music associated with Verso’s Drafts
The soundtrack listing for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 credits composer Lorien Testard and Alice Duport-Percier and presents six tracks associated with the update. It offers a digital album to download or stream and gives a release date of December 12, 2025. The listing does not establish that a physical soundtrack is available. See the official soundtrack listing.
In the update announcement, Testard described the final soundtrack songs as a farewell: “I experienced the creation of the last OST songs as a farewell to all this adventure and characters that accompanied my life and imagination for five years.”
