Cluedo: Painted Red Gallery Expansion is downloadable content for Nintendo Switch that adds a murder-mystery case set in an art gallery, a new Standard-mode rule called Double Reveal, and themed digital extras. Nintendo lists Cluedo as a required game and gives the expansion a release date of 28 October 2026; that is a listed future date, not confirmation that it is already available.
What does the Painted Red Gallery expansion add?
The expansion centres on a new case at the exclusive gallery of Boddy Black. He is found dead an hour before a one-night public opening. Six people had early access, and players must determine who committed the murder, which weapon was used, and where it happened.
The suspects and weapons
Nintendo’s fictional case description names six suspects and their associated possible weapons:
| Suspect | Role in the case | Possible weapon |
|---|---|---|
| Scarlett | Art critic | Gavel |
| Mustard | Gallery security guard | Tie-down straps |
| Plum | Art dealer | Power drill |
| White | Assistant curator | Glass shard |
| Green | Celebrity influencer | Art piece |
| Peacock | Registrar | Display katana |
Double Reveal
The new rule is called Double Reveal. In Standard mode, each suggestion receives two responses. Nintendo presents it as a new way to play the Painted Red Gallery case; the listing does not give further rules detail.

Nintendo UK lists 28 October 2026 as the release date, and Nintendo Spain corroborates the platform, required game, and date.
