After completing “Pyres of Novigrad,” go to the quest marker southeast of Hierarch Square and speak with Rudolf de Jonkheer. Corinne Tilly is upstairs, but she is trapped in an unnatural sleep. Follow the attic clues and deal with the godling Sarah in the cellar; then meet Corinne at the Golden Sturgeon. This walkthrough includes spoilers for Sarah’s choice and its consequences.
Find Corinne in the marked house
- After “Pyres of Novigrad,” travel to the quest marker southeast of Hierarch Square.
- Speak with the homeowner, Rudolf de Jonkheer, then go upstairs to find Corinne asleep.
Solve the attic clues
- Use the ladder to reach the attic.
- Cast Aard to break through the blocked doorway.
- Use Witcher senses to locate the Drawing of a Crib and the Rag Doll.
- Take the doll to the crib in the side room off Corinne’s bedroom and place it there. The resulting oven drawing points you toward the cellar.
Choose how to deal with Sarah
Examine the cellar oven to discover Sarah, a godling. You can make a deal that lets her stay, or try to drive her out.

Neither outcome is universally better: choose based on whether you want Sarah to remain and unlock the follow-up, or want to drive her from the house. Prima’s guide also notes that the choice affects a conversation during “Bald Mountain.” After the quest, what you tell Rudolf about Sarah can affect whether Geralt reveals that a godling was involved; if you want to preserve Sarah’s friendly outcome, do not disclose her presence.
Meet Corinne at the Golden Sturgeon
Once Sarah relents or leaves, speak with Corinne upstairs in the house. Then travel to the Golden Sturgeon, west of the Hierarch Square signpost, and find her in a room on the upper floor. Talk with her about Ciri and answer her questions. The conversation leads to Geralt’s dream and advances the story into “Broken Flowers.”
