The Square Enix game page names those platform families. Steam also lists a PC edition, released there on April 14, 2016, on its official store page.
Do the console editions differ?
Square Enix support says the content is the same across console versions. That does not mean every edition has identical convenience features: Square Enix’s PS4 support page specifically documents high-definition movies and character models, autosave, optional boosters, and PlayStation trophy support for that edition. Do not assume those details apply to every platform.

Does Final Fantasy IX have multiplayer?
No. Steam lists Final Fantasy IX as a single-player game, and GOG’s listing does too. The current editions described by these storefronts are for solo play; do not confuse them with the separate Tetra Master online service that existed historically.
