Spoiler warning: Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes has 120 recruitable characters, including heroes who join automatically as the story progresses. For the least revealing route, use the Official Eiyuden Chronicle Wiki’s spoiler-free recruitment guide, organized by when characters first become available. For a checklist that includes story joins and their details, use its full-spoiler recruitment guide.
What counts toward all 120 recruits?
Count both optional recruits and characters who join through story events. A checklist limited to people who require a separate conversation, quest, or challenge will leave out automatic story joins. The Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes Wiki gives the roster total as 120; the Official Eiyuden Chronicle Wiki provides spoiler-free and full-spoiler recruitment guides.
To avoid searching too early, follow the spoiler-free guide in story order. It groups characters by their earliest availability and hides automatic joins. If you want every name and recruitment detail in one place, choose the full-spoiler guide instead.
How should you use the recruitment guides?
For a low-spoiler playthrough
- Open the Official Eiyuden Chronicle Wiki’s spoiler-free recruitment guide.
- Check the group for your current point in the story before visiting locations or pursuing side activities.
- Work through the optional recruitment conditions shown for that point. Automatic story joins are hidden in this version, so use the full-spoiler guide later if you need to audit the whole roster.
For a complete roster audit
- Open the Official Eiyuden Chronicle Wiki’s full-spoiler recruitment guide.
- Use it as the master checklist, including characters who join automatically through the story.
- For each character, check the listed location, party or stat requirements, and any quest, battle, or minigame condition before moving on.
What kinds of conditions can block a recruit?
Recruitment is not always a matter of finding a character and speaking to them. The examples below show why it helps to check the specific condition before leaving an area or attempting a challenge. They are examples, not a complete roster.

Why is Leene a special endgame checkpoint?
The Official Eiyuden Chronicle Wiki’s spoiler-free guide identifies Leene as a late-game recruitment checkpoint that requires the other 119 characters first. Treat her as an endgame roster check: if she is not available, audit the full-spoiler checklist for any unrecruited characters rather than assuming her condition is met by progressing the story alone.

- Our story begins in one corner of Allraan, a tapestry of nations with diverse cultures and values. By dint of sword, and by way of magical objects known as “rune-lenses,” the land’s history has been shaped by the alliances and aggressions of the humans, beastmen, elves, and desert people who live there.
- Now, the Empire is scouring the continent for an artifact that will expand their power even further. It is on one such expedition that Seign Kesling, a young and gifted imperial officer, and Nowa, a boy from a remote village, meet each other and become friends.
