Does STAR WARS: Galactic Racer support a racing wheel?
Secret Mode’s pinned developer FAQ on Steam says: “There are currently no plans to implement wheel support, HOTAS/HOSAS support, full haptics, or resistance.” The same FAQ confirms controller rumble across platforms and keyboard-and-mouse play. Its wording describes the developer’s plans when the FAQ was last edited on September 25, 2026; it does not rule out a future change. Check the developer’s Steam FAQ again before buying if the game’s support status may have changed.
The listed platforms are PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. Keyboard and mouse are confirmed as an option for PC. The reviewed official information does not establish a supported racing wheel or identify any wheel model as compatible.
Why the vehicles do not make a wheel compatible
The game features landspeeders, speeder bikes, skim speeders, and podracers in a runs-based racing game, with a story-driven solo campaign and competitive multiplayer. Those vehicles may make a steering wheel seem like a natural fit, but a vehicle theme or racing genre is not evidence of peripheral support. The developer’s input-support statement is the relevant compatibility information.

Release date and physical editions
Official sources list October 6, 2026, as the worldwide release date for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The developer FAQ says physical Standard and Deluxe editions are available to pre-order for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, and lists a physical Collector’s Edition for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
