For a mobile game with a closer kart-combat feel, try Disney Speedstorm; for faster, more conventional arcade car racing, consider Asphalt Legends. Neither is a one-for-one replacement for Tour, so the right choice depends on which parts of it you want to keep.
What Mario Kart Tour offered—and what to look for next
Nintendo’s Mario Kart Tour product page describes a one-finger control scheme for steering and drifting, item attacks, collectible drivers, karts and gliders, and courses drawing on real-world cities as well as classic Mario Kart tracks. It also describes multiplayer races with up to seven other players. That combination—not simply driving cars—is the useful baseline when comparing alternatives.
Nintendo Australia’s game page states that the smart-device service was discontinued on September 30, 2026. The recommendations below are games to investigate now, not ways to continue playing Tour’s mobile service.
Best fit for kart-style combat: Disney Speedstorm
Disney Speedstorm is the closer of these two options if you want character-led racing, combat abilities and a kart-like arcade feel. Its official site presents it as a Disney and Pixar combat-racing game. The iOS listing describes racer skills, drifting, nitro and multiplayer, and identifies the game as free-to-play with in-app purchases.

- Players can choose a new Smart Steering feature which makes driving and staying on the track easy for novice players and kids even at 200cc
Disney also announced that mobile players could use cross-save and cross-play with PC and console players. See the mobile launch announcement. If you plan to move between devices or race across platforms, check the current account and platform requirements before installing.
- Choose it for: character abilities, combat-racing action, drifting, nitro and multiplayer.
- It is not Tour with Disney characters: the available product descriptions do not establish matching controls, scoring, collection systems or item mechanics.
- Check before downloading: regional availability, current platform support and in-app purchase details can vary or change.
Best for faster arcade car racing: Asphalt Legends
If you mainly want a quick, high-energy race on mobile, Asphalt Legends is a different kind of alternative. Gameloft’s launch announcement describes high-speed, action-packed racing, names the App Store and Google Play, and highlights cross-platform support. This is an arcade car racer, not a direct substitute for Mario-style kart combat.
Rank #2
- Nuevos personajes: Inkling, Rey Boo, Huesitos y Bowsy
- Inclusi n de circuitos in ditos en el modo batalla
- Los pilotos cuentan con el volante inteligente, que ayuda a no salirse de la pista
- Hasta 8 pilotos en partidas de multijugador local

- Expect a different feel: Gameloft positions the game around speed and action; its cited description does not claim Tour-style one-finger controls, item combat or collectible gliders.
- Check before downloading: confirm the game’s current name and availability in your country’s app store, as store listings can change.

Neither description establishes that the game reproduces Tour’s mix of city courses, Mario Kart tracks, driver/kart/glider collections and item-based races. Compare what matters most to you: combat, pace, playing with friends, cross-platform play, and how each game handles purchases. Both games’ current store pages are the best place to check availability and purchase details for your region.
