The Logitech G PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE’s defining feature is not a new sensor trick or a promise of better aim: it is HITS, a configurable main-button system that lets you tune click actuation and reset, with haptic feedback. That could appeal to players who want precise control over click feel, but Logitech’s claimed latency reduction is not independently established here, and the $179.99 US price makes it a specialized premium purchase rather than an automatic upgrade.
What is the Logitech G PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE?
It is a wireless competitive gaming mouse built around Logitech’s Haptic Inductive Trigger System (HITS). Instead of conventional microswitches in the main buttons, Logitech describes an inductive analog sensing system paired with haptic actuators. The rest of the proposition is a lightweight mouse with a HERO 2 sensor, LIGHTSPEED 2 wireless and high polling-rate support.
Logitech says more than 100 esports professionals were involved in development; that is a company-reported figure, not an independent measure of performance. Its technical specifications are useful context, but they do not show that the mouse will improve every player’s results.
What does HITS do?
In Logitech’s September 2025 explanation, copper coils create an electromagnetic field that senses movement of the main buttons. The company describes 0.6 mm of click travel and haptic actuators that provide tactile feedback when a click actuates and when the button resets.

In practical terms, HITS gives you control over how far the button moves before a click registers and how far it must return before it can register again. Haptics supply a simulated tactile signal at those points. It is a configurable control feature—not evidence by itself of faster human reactions, improved aim or more wins.
Actuation, reset and feedback settings
Logitech’s current product page lists ten actuation points, five rapid-trigger reset points and six haptic intensity levels. Logitech’s September 2025 announcement described haptic levels 1–5, so the current product page is the appropriate reference for the current listed range. Advanced settings require Logitech G HUB.

How much does the Logitech G PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE cost?
Logitech’s US store showed a price of $179.99 and “In stock. Ready to ship” on October 4, 2026. That is a dated US store snapshot; price and availability can change and may differ by region. At that price, the central question is whether you will use the adjustable click behavior enough to justify paying for it.
Who is it for?
Competitive players who want to tune their clicks
If click actuation and reset are controls you actively want to adjust, HITS is the mouse’s clear differentiator. The combination of selectable points and haptic feedback offers more ways to shape the button experience than a conventional fixed click system. You still need to spend time in G HUB to set up the advanced controls.

Players who prioritize a lightweight wireless mouse
The listed 60 g weight, LIGHTSPEED 2 wireless and HERO 2 sensor make the basic hardware proposition easy to understand. Whether the shape suits your hand and grip is a personal fit question; the listed dimensions alone cannot settle it.
Casual or value-conscious buyers
Tom’s Guide’s February 10, 2026 review presents the mouse as a premium option for esports players and competitive enthusiasts, while cautioning that casual competitive gamers may not see large benefits. The review praises click customization, lightweight design and software fine-tuning, and identifies the price and lack of an onboard DPI selector as drawbacks. Those are that publication’s assessments, not universal findings.

Is it worth it for competitive gaming?
Consider the PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE if you have a concrete reason to customize main-button actuation and reset and are willing to configure those options in software. If you would leave the click settings untouched, HITS is unlikely to justify its premium on its own. Weigh it against hand fit, weight, your preferred button feel, software requirements and the features you will actually use—not just the maximum polling rate or latency figure.
There is no supported basis here to rank it above named competitors through controlled, like-for-like results. Logitech’s up-to-30-ms figure is a company claim, and the cited product specifications do not establish that buying this mouse will make an individual player faster or more accurate.
