Choose a class that fits how you want to play, follow the quests and class prompts in your current client, and learn progression systems as they open up. There is no universally best class or verified, one-size-fits-all daily checklist in the available official guidance; exact activities and reset rules can vary by version or region.

Which class should you choose?

Class selection happens during character creation. Netmarble describes Lineage 2: Revolution as a world with six races, each with different abilities, and notes that classes of the same nature can still differ in combat ability. Its recommendation is to choose in light of your personal characteristics and the race’s abilities, rather than assume one class is best for everyone. Netmarble’s character-creation guide

For a practical choice, consider the role and combat style you enjoy, how much time you expect to play, and whether you prefer to play alone or with others. Those are useful questions to ask yourself, not a verified ranking of the available classes: the official guidance cited here does not compare current classes by strength, ease, solo suitability, or complexity.

What should you do first?

  1. Create a character that suits your play style. Use the race and class descriptions in character creation to inform your choice; do not rely on an old tier list as if it were a current recommendation.
  2. Follow the current in-game quests and prompts. Use them to learn the game’s progression as it becomes available. Netmarble’s guide index includes separate entries for leveling, class advancement, and quest progress. Netmarble’s official guide index
  3. Learn skills and equipment as you progress. The official index also covers skills and equipment. It does not establish a current optimal upgrade order, so check what your character can use and what the live client recommends instead of treating a fixed investment sequence as universal.
  4. Review newly available daily activities and dungeons. Check their current descriptions, entry conditions, and rewards in your client before deciding which fit your available play time.

How do the progression systems fit together?

Progression is not a single level-up track. Netmarble’s guide index treats quests, character leveling, class advancement, skills, and equipment as distinct topics. Use quests and in-game prompts to orient yourself, then consult the matching official guide entry when a system becomes relevant. The index confirms these topics exist, but it does not provide enough current detail to establish exact quest steps, leveling milestones, or an optimal upgrade path.

  • Quests: provide a route through the game; follow the active objectives shown in your client.
  • Leveling and class advancement: are separate guide topics. Follow the current prompts for your character rather than assuming milestones from another server or version apply.
  • Skills and equipment: have their own systems and guide entries. Learn their controls and options as they become available; no single best investment order is established here.

What should you do every day?

Netmarble’s official index lists daily activities and daily dungeons as separate topics. That confirms both are systems to review, but the available official material does not establish a universal priority order, current reward values, entry rules, or reset schedule. Open the relevant activity screens in your regional client, check their live requirements and rewards, and choose what fits the time you have.

A community-maintained daily quest reference reports up to 12 daily quests per character, a reset at 4:00 a.m. server time, and that a quest must be selected before progress toward it counts. These are community-reported, version-sensitive details—not confirmed current rules from the official guide. Verify the count, reset time, and selection behavior in your client and on your server.

How can you progress faster without following outdated advice?

  • Keep moving through the active quests and class prompts instead of relying on an old route or milestone list.
  • When a new system appears, learn its purpose from the in-game description and the corresponding section of the official guide index.
  • Check daily activities and dungeons directly in the client; prioritize by current availability, requirements, and rewards rather than a fixed list from another server.
  • Treat class rankings, exact leveling routes, and numerical daily rules as version- and region-dependent unless a current source for your client verifies them.

The community-maintained daily dungeon reference describes dungeons as a source of upgrade materials and discusses unlock and entry conditions. Those details have not been verified against current official rules here, so use the live client for exact rewards and eligibility.

Which guides are relevant to Revolution?

Use Netmarble’s official guide index for its entries on character advancement, leveling, skills, equipment, quest progress, daily activities, class transfer, daily dungeons, and new adventurers. A guide titled for Lineage II is not automatically a guide for Lineage 2: Revolution: for example, the surfaced Prima guide dates to 2004 and covers the original game, not Revolution.
