As of October 4, 2026, Pokémon Winds and Pokémon Waves are announced exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2, with a simultaneous worldwide release planned for 2027. If your device is not a Nintendo Switch 2, it is not a platform named in the official announcements. Detailed technical requirements have not been published in the cited announcements.
Which devices are officially announced as compatible?
Nintendo Switch 2 is the only officially announced platform for Pokémon Winds and Pokémon Waves. The official Pokémon game page, The Pokémon Company’s February 27, 2026 announcement, and Nintendo’s March 2, 2026 news item identify the games as Nintendo Switch 2 titles.

To check your device, find its exact model name and compare it with that platform:
- Nintendo Switch 2: It matches the platform named in the announcements.
- Original Nintendo Switch: It is a different model and is not named as a compatible platform.
- PC, phone, or another console: None is named as a supported platform in these announcements.
This is a check of announced platform support, not a technical test of performance. The sources do not announce a port or establish backward compatibility.
