HSW is available in GTA Online on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC Enhanced, through Hao’s workshop inside the LS Car Meet. Compatibility does not mean a vehicle is the fastest choice or eligible for every HSW race or time trial.
Which vehicles are HSW-compatible?
The following 31 vehicles appear on GTA BOOM’s current compatibility list. The roster is from a secondary guide rather than a consolidated official Rockstar catalogue; check the in-game workshop in case eligibility changes with an update.

The guide reports the Pegassi Horus joined the roster on September 10, 2026. The Weaponized Ignus is listed as upgrade-compatible, but Push Square’s guide distinguishes that from HSW Time Trial eligibility: it is not accepted for those trials. Upgrade eligibility and event rules are separate checks.
Which versions of GTA Online support HSW?
HSW launched on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar later brought HSW features to the Enhanced version of GTA V for PC. Rockstar’s update 1.72 notes also identify the Vapid FMJ MK V as receiving HSW upgrades on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC Enhanced. The feature is not established here for other editions, so check the version you are playing rather than assuming the roster applies across every platform.

Where do you get HSW upgrades?
Drive an eligible personal vehicle to the LS Car Meet and use Hao’s Special Works workshop to select an HSW conversion or modification. Rockstar describes the shop as an auto shop inside the LS Car Meet for upgrading select vehicles.
The vehicle purchase and HSW conversion are separate costs. Any additional performance or cosmetic modifications may increase the total, so review the prices shown in-game before confirming.

Does HSW compatibility mean a car is best for racing?
No. The list tells you which vehicles can receive HSW upgrades; it is not a ranking of speed or handling. For a purchase decision, compare the total vehicle-plus-conversion cost, the vehicle’s class and handling, and the kind of race or driving you intend to do. Course demands vary, and some events impose their own eligibility rules.

Rockstar’s 2022 announcement described HSW as a way to upgrade select vehicles for elite driving performance that takes advantage of newer console hardware; at launch, the announcement referred to five new and five existing vehicles. That launch figure is historical, not the size of the current roster. The present 31-vehicle count comes from GTA BOOM’s guide, while Rockstar’s cited platform and update notes confirm HSW availability and selected vehicles rather than publishing a complete current catalogue.
