Travis Willingham’s Campaign 4 character, Teor Pridesire, died in episode 30, and Willingham was reportedly absent from episode 31. But there is no verified return date—or confirmed timetable showing how long he will be away. The distinction matters: Teor’s fictional fate is clearer than Willingham’s real-world plans.
What happened to Teor Pridesire?
Critical Role’s Campaign 4 page identifies Travis Willingham as Teor Pridesire’s player. A secondary report says Teor died in episode 30, “Here in the Dark.” That is an in-story event, not evidence that Willingham has left the campaign permanently.

The official page lists campaign recaps through episode 36, with episode 36 dated September 30, 2026. That shows the campaign continued after Teor’s death; the recap list does not identify who participated in every episode.
Why is Travis Willingham missing from Campaign 4?
Polygon’s report excerpt, surfaced through IMDb, says Willingham did not appear in episode 31. Because Teor had died in the preceding episode, the reported absence followed the character’s exit from the story. The excerpt does not provide the full interview or establish that the character’s death is the only reason for Willingham’s absence.

- First major D&D adventure book within Critical Role’s world of Exandria, taking players from levels 3–12
- Multi-continental story that spans the scarred Wastes of Xhorhas, introduces the continent of Marquet, and eventually plunges players into the Netherdeep—a terrifying cross between the Far Realm and the deep ocean
- Bursting with lore and all new art depicting Exandria
- Includes a poster map of Ank’Harel
- Adds magic items, creatures, and introduces rival NPCs
Campaign 4 is told through three rotating tables—Soldiers, Seekers, and Schemers—rather than one fixed party. That ensemble format is part of the campaign’s design, but it does not by itself explain Willingham’s episode-by-episode participation.

The available information does not confirm when Willingham will return, whether he will play another character, or how long his absence will last. “For a long time” is the framing of the story, not a verified schedule. The available report excerpt summarizes the situation but does not expose the interview passage that might clarify future plans.

For context, the official Beacon listing for episode 27, “Complicated Questions,” gives its original air date as May 29, 2026 and lists Willingham as Teor’s player. That confirms his role earlier in the campaign, but it does not answer when or whether he will appear again.
