How many players can play online, and in which modes?
The official campaign description lists online play for up to four players. Xbox Wire identifies Campaign, Horde Siege, and Versus as online modes. That four-player limit is not the same as Versus team size: the official multiplayer deep dive describes all Versus modes as 4v4.
Horde Siege is a PvE mode; Xbox describes it as a 12-player experience organized into three squads. Those mode and team details describe how multiplayer is structured, not whether Xbox and PC players can be matched together.
