If you’re in the United States and a Warriors game is blacked out on NBA League Pass, check whether it’s a local-team blackout or a national broadcast. For a local game, watch through the regional sports network or local broadcaster that carries it at your address. For a nationally televised game, use the outlet listed for that game. League Pass’s ZIP-code checker can help identify restrictions before you subscribe.
First, identify why the Warriors game is blacked out
In the United States, NBA League Pass does not provide live access to games blacked out for your local NBA team or to nationally broadcast games. The restriction depends on your current location, so a game available to someone elsewhere may not be available live to you. The NBA’s League Pass Blackouts guidance explains the rules and provides a ZIP-code check.
- Local blackout: The game is carried by a regional sports network or local broadcaster in your area. That broadcaster is the live viewing option the NBA directs local League Pass viewers to.
- National blackout: The game is assigned to a national outlet. Use the outlet named in the game listing rather than expecting League Pass to show it live.
How to find the right live stream
- Check the Warriors’ listing for that game. Look at the current schedule or game details for its broadcaster. The Warriors’ 2025–26 schedule includes NBCSBA and national-broadcast labels, but assignments change by game and season.
- Check League Pass by ZIP code. Enter your ZIP code on the NBA League Pass page to see which local restrictions apply. Restrictions are based on your current location, not simply the team you chose in the app.
- For a local broadcast, verify the local channel or service. Find which regional sports network or local broadcaster carries the game at your address, then confirm that your TV provider or streaming package includes it. Availability and package costs vary by location and provider.
- For a national broadcast, use the listed outlet. For the 2025–26 season, the NBA identifies ABC and ESPN, NBC and Peacock, and Amazon Prime Video among its national partners. There is no single provider or price that can be recommended for every viewer: the answer depends on the game’s broadcaster and whether that channel or service is available at your address. Confirm both before paying for a subscription.
When League Pass will have a replay
If you cannot watch through the applicable live broadcaster, League Pass replay timing depends on the blackout type. According to the NBA’s blackout guidance, a locally televised game becomes available on demand three days after the live broadcast concludes. A nationally broadcast game becomes available at 6:00 a.m. ET the following day.

What a streaming device can—and cannot—do
The NBA lists Amazon Fire TV and Fire Stick among devices that support its app in its 2025–26 viewing FAQ. A compatible Fire TV Stick can put the app on a television, but it does not provide broadcast rights or remove a blackout. Check whether the specific game is available live in your market before relying on the device.
If a blackout seems incorrect
The NBA says restrictions are location-specific and may use your IP address or enabled location services. If a game appears blocked in error, troubleshoot the NBA app or contact NBA support rather than trying to spoof your location. The League Pass blackout help page is the official starting point.

Canada has different blackout rules
This guidance covers viewers in the United States. The NBA’s blackout page says nationally broadcast games are blacked out in Canada, with replays available roughly three hours after the game; it identifies Sportsnet or TSN as national viewing alternatives. Do not use the U.S. local-team guidance above to determine Canadian availability.
