To play AION 2 in the West, use the official AION 2 global portal or its Steam listing, then choose a region, faction and available server in game. As of October 4, 2026, the game was moving from Advanced Access to commercial launch; check the latest launch notices and Steam requirements before installing.
Get AION 2 through the official PC route
NCSOFT’s global portal links to Steam, where AION 2 is listed as a PC game. Use those official routes to find and install the global version. The official pages reviewed do not establish a Western mobile client, so this guide covers PC access.
The launch status is time-sensitive. The official announcement feed scheduled maintenance for October 4, 2026 at 22:00 PDT (October 5 at 07:00 CEST), during which Advanced Access would end and commercial launch would begin. Maintenance schedules can change, so check the official Steam announcements for the latest status before trying to log in.
Choose a region, faction and server
According to the current official announcement feed, the selection order is region first, then faction, then an available server in that region. Listed server regions include Europe, NA West, NA East, Latin America and Asia. If you are in western North America, NA West is an expressly listed option; the notices do not guarantee that it will provide the best connection for every player or specify latency.

NCSOFT’s global release announcement names North America, South America, Europe and Japan as global-access regions. That broad description is not a guarantee of availability in every country. At setup, use the region and server choices actually displayed in game; server pairings may be updated periodically.
Set your language and check your PC
In-game languages
NCSOFT lists eight in-game language options: English, French, German, Spanish (Spain), Portuguese (Brazil), Japanese, Korean and Russian. Check the in-game language settings after installation to select your preference.

System requirements
The game is listed for PC on Steam. The official pages reviewed do not establish minimum or recommended specifications. Before buying, installing or upgrading hardware, check the listing’s current system-requirements section against your computer; do not assume a generic gaming PC will meet the requirements.
Check launch rewards and eligibility dates
Official launch notices describe limited-time rewards with eligibility conditions, not permanent entitlements. The global portal advertises two free mounts for qualifying players who meet its account-creation deadline; they are delivered by in-game mail and granted once per region. A separate Steam launch-reward notice lists rewards for eligible logins completed before its stated deadline. Read each notice for its current dates and conditions before relying on a reward.

Avoid unauthorized Kinah and Quna sellers
The AION 2 team warns that buying Kinah or Quna from unauthorized third parties violates the Terms of Service and may lead to account termination. Use only authorized in-game channels for currency or purchases. See the team’s official notice for its wording and current policy details.
