The mysterious tree in The Sims 4 is the Sylvan Tree in Foundry Cove, Willow Creek, beside the Crick Cabana lot. Keep interacting with it until Explore appears, then choose Follow the Sound, Travel Downstream and Enter the Mist to reach the hidden area, Sylvan Glade.
Where to find the mysterious tree
Travel to Foundry Cove in Willow Creek and use the Crick Cabana lot as your landmark. The unusual-looking tree is in the public space beside the lot—described by players as being behind Crick Cabana. This is the Sylvan Tree, not a tree you need to search for elsewhere on the world map.

How to unlock the Explore interaction
- Select the Sylvan Tree and choose View. Repeat the interaction until more tree interactions become available.
- Continue interacting with the tree until Explore appears. The revealed options can include Water the Tree, Compliment on Leaves and Chat About Roots.
- Select Explore to begin the tree’s portal sequence.
There is no dependable fixed number of interactions or single required order for the preliminary options. Keep checking the tree’s available interactions rather than stopping after a set number of clicks.
